The best way for you to know why he did that is to ask your boss. Perhaps it's his way of making you clear all your accountable things first with the firm.

That's weird if he doesn't give you an answer. Maybe he is angry with you. However, here in our company, if you resign, your last 15 days salary will be put on hold , until all department heads have signed your clearance certificate, which means you have no more monetary obligations or damages to pay with the company. Insist for an answer and for that pay because it's way delayed so much already. Try to recall whatever monetary obligations or damages to pay with you company.

Here where I live a company by law has 15 days to make sure an employee has received their pay check after leaving the job. If not they could be liable for some heavy fines and penalties as it is the law here. I am not sure which country you are from as I did not see it in your profile. But here we can go to the department of labor online and file a complaint. All can be done online. At which time they do all the necessary steps and with phone calls it all can be resolved. Good luck and see if you have something like this by you as no employer has the right to hold earnings for no reason at all. I understand that even if an employee was to be caught stealing, that would make the employee a bad one but still entitled to their earnings. Such giving you an example as I worked in human resources and our laws are very strict where employees rights are enforced.

just force him to pay you, or you may kill him.

Have you contacted your boss about it? You better talk to the PRO in your company and tell them about it. If you already talked to him and he still won't give your salary, then it's better to call the Ministry of Labor in your country and they will tell you what you have to do. Good luck!

You can sue him about it. Ask a lawyer and get an advice on what you should do.
