Hi guys! have you ever watched "Nostradamus effect", its a documentary that studies about the coming of Christ and the prediction of many intelligent people about it.The bible tells us in the book of Revelations that the there will be an antichrsit who will rule the world and persecute the remaining Christians. Rumors say that it will be a pope. The antichrist will be a very influential and powerful person.HE will deceive a lot of people. Well, I don not know who will be the anitchrist because the bible did not specifically said who it would be, the only I believe is there will really be antichrist in the last days. So while we are able to live freely as Christians we should take an opportunity to share His word especially to our love ones and to live a life that glorifies God in everything we do.We may not know when Jesus is coming and who will be the antichrsit that is why we need to read and study the bible and always pray for each other.

Many misunderstandings exist about the "antichrist." The word "antichrist" is not even found in the book of Revelation. It is very simple. There is no single individual that is the antichrist. Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. So every individual that does not follow Christ is an antichrist. 1 John 2:18 King James Version (KJV) 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 2 John 1:7 King James Version (KJV) 7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. So there were many antichrists in John's day and there are many today. Instead of being an "antichrist", let us follow Christ's steps closely. All the best!

I think antichrist is not only one person but those teaching is against the bible. As we read in the bible. Where the apostle said to all the members that any one who will teach the anythings which is not found on their teaching or in the bible. Those are antichrist...

richard dawkins? i'm only joking there, as in some ways what poor richard dawkins objects to is people who use god to oppress, and god might not mind that as much as dawkins imagines. its difficult to guess who it might be, as christianity is in many ways a useful political tool, to make people do what governments want, which is not really its purpose. it could be an interesting battle about who god is, in that there are people who use god to oppress and those who see him as setting people free, and those who use god to oppress would then be the antichrist as they are all that jesus spoke out against. but i'm just playing with the idea, as revelations is a metaphorical account of the time before the coming of christ, and if it is an accurate prophecy we have no way, really, of knowing what point we have reached so far. though its an interesting question eljayo.

I do not think it is one person but a 'thing' just as Israel in the bible was a real person but later was referred to a nation and then a group of people. Another example would be Babylon which was one city single city but is later referred to with more meaning. So I think the antichrist is not a person but a movement (message of Satan) against the message of Jesus Christ for peace in the world. I do not hold too much weight in regard to the man Nostradamus or other predictions that lead up the coming because Jesus said himself. "of the hour and season even he does not know but only the father knows". It is up to God when to bring about changes. So I believe, anything that is opposed to the happy wonderful message of peace is a force anti to it. If we look in the world now we can see a movement engaged that desires to bring an end to religions, and even more importantly an end to the association to God in schools, institutions and government. For a real example, some would not like the president of the United States to say "And God bless America". The movement for such changes is a movement to remove God out of everything. It opposes or is anti to the message of Christ. I would not define it as HE because just like people that believe with all their heart in God there are people that do not and oppose the belief. Many people believe in a message of peace but because of the deception that the antichrist teaches they often become hostile but still one person is not the antichrist even though they might be anti to Christ. I think the term antichrist in the bible is today a movement called atheism the lie.

Hi! I'm mistaken I was referring to the leader of the antichrsit.A lot of people are unknowingly deceived by the devil .Let's continue to pray fro them that they will be enlightened but if it is prophesied in the bible we cannot stop it from happening.
