In this fast world, we cannot avoid using shampoo. A shampoo can decrease or increase hair growth, it depends upon the quality of the shampoo. One general advice dont apply shampoo directly to your scalp instead mix with water and then use.

shampoo can make hair dry, so use it only once a week. as for natural conditioners ,they are good for hair. I use shoeflower paste and apply it to remove dandruff and dirt once a week. it is good and after that wash the hair with shampoo. oil massage is also good for hair. kerala girls have long black strong hair because they apply oil everyday to hair. oil bath is also good for the body because it will increase lubrication and build a stong body too.

i dont know whether it increases or decreases hair, however i can say that it helps us wash away the dirt from our hair,we can have head bath easily ,no way of tension of making a long process of shikai or amla, previously there was a lot of process to make the soapy substance for washing the hair every week twice,as shampoos came every one want the instant cleanser for the hair.

yes soap does hard on the hair.Better not go for it.Use some mild shampoo which is good for the hair. Use oil becasue that can nourish the scalp and hair.Hair doesnt get hurt when u apply oil to it.

Hello,Shampoo can make hair grow if it is used in limited quantities..But if you use more it will effect your hair...This can reduce the hair in your head..So while using shampoo,Make sure you use in limited quantities...Also you should take the best shampoo available in the market!! Happy Mylotting!!!

There's many kinds of shampoo in the market nowadays promoting this and that... whatever they say i just look at it as a cleansing... I prefer organic shampoo because i'm sure it can do no harm to my hair. I use "gugo" shampoo, a herbal extract which i'm buying in Tagaytay Philippines for P150 in a 500 grams container. It's an extract from gugo bark which contains abundant amount of saponin that responsible for the abundant lather produced when mixed with water and other natural ingredients extracted from herbs, trees, fruits and plants. The scientific name of gugo is "Entada Phaseoloides L".

It really depends on what shampoo you use, and it also depends on the person. For instance, I have extremely damaged hair from processing it so much, and whenever I use Pantene Pro V, my hair ends up breaking off due to the chemicals it contains. So unfortunately, I have to use expensive lines such as Nexxus, which are a bit less harsh on my hair follicles. I've shaved my head before, and I can tell you that one thing that does promote hair growth is massaging your hair while washing it. It stimulates the hair follicle and promotes faster growth. I'm positive it works, because my hair grew out fully within a year...As in I went from Mr. Clean bald to hair past my shoulders!

shampoo doesnt really do either. however you CAN buy shampoo that will help stimulate hair growth if it has caffine in it.

I don't really think it's done one or the other. My hair has pretty much stayed the same amount since I was little. I do think you need to be careful about the brand and type of shampoo you use though, if you do use shampoo. There are a lot of random chemicals that are put into them these days!

It is natural or normal for our hair to grow without the aid of shampoo... Unless, if there is a presence of baldness due to aging process. Then, no hair to be expected to grow.
