I have a website and truth be told I would like to profit from it, I can see there are quite a few of us here and the numbers if united could do ourselves some favors by helping each other with our websites or blogs. I am interested in making money but I do not have a lot of spare to throw around, therefore not able to spend on the latest SEO marketing or designs. I am sure there are some of you out there, I would like to have you advice. Do you have any suggestions on how we can do to help each other with our website and blog?

probably by commenting on posts, sharing the blog links in social networking sites and by following the blog.

I guess it would help, however you have to make it interesting enough for people to want to comment.

Hello iwrite. I'm also an online writer, but I only write during my spare time. Have you tried submitting your blog on this website? They have a Blogs section as you could see among the tabs above this. Once submitted, they will display your RSS feeds in their section. People could read your entries and comment. I haven't submitted mine yet because I still want to add more contents on my blog before I do that. You could also try reading other people's blogs. This will make people notice your blog. Good luck.

This is a good post. I have struggling to get traffic. What works and what not - it's hard to figure out. I think we can mutually benefit from each other by bookmarking, digging, tweeting, commenting and showcasing each others blogs. Happy writing and happy getting valuable readership.

mimpi1911 I guess then you might be interested to join me to figure out how to make our site better? If you are perhaps you let me know and I would try to gather a few more so that we can form a support group.

well, we can visit each other's blogs/websites and leave comments. aside from that, i can hardly recommend any other way. of course, we can earn some extra money from our blogs. and the best way to do it is to build our contents. there is no substitute in writing more quality contents, than promoting our blogs without good contents on them.

I think that is a good idea, I am thinking of creating a group of inner circle of people who are new and could be able to help each other with their blog or website.

Yes i aggree with your idea. We can create a group on facebook for example with the name Blog Helpers. With 200 members, whose members visit each other blogs of his friends and make comments, I think it is enough to trigger the traffic to the blogs owned by members. It's like Cityville game on facebook where you have to work together with other friends to quickly up the ranks.

To answer your specific question about helping each other, well the simplest way is to book mark and promote each others sites and articles. By that I mean Digg-ing, Stumble-ing, Reddit-ing each other. At least by doing that it will assist in raising your blogs profile by appearing to be popular amongst others. On that note you can add to that tweeting various interesting posts as well. To be honest if as a blogger you are exploring the world of promoting and bookmarking you should make it part of your routine to bookmark other people’s blogs and posts because if you just bookmark your own posts you are seen as a selfish blogger, just spamming your own links and not aiding in the growth of the blogging community. One of the best ways you can go about getting people to promote your work naturally is to become active on other blogs within your niche, commenting and offering up guest posts. In fact getting a guest post on a popular blog within your niche will swell your readership massively. But it will also mean that those people who come to your blog via a comment or guest post can also book mark (digg, stumble) a post they like. Hope that helps a little.
