What age do you think a child is too old to go trick or treating?
For me its kind of in between your never too old to go trick or treating and that once your like 14 or 15 I think you are bit to old because a lot of kids around that age will like throw things or have parties and just cause more trouble then fun for some people. I stopped going once I enter high school not more fun for me then. I got the left over candy that my parents couldn't give a way and my friends younger siblings candy. But now I have my own baby so I get to take her out and eat the candy that she can't have or the candy we don't give away to people.
I always find it fun to watch the little kids dress up and go out trick or treating with there parents and friends. To see that big smile on there face its one of those few priceless things in life.

I think once you are in middle school or you are about 13-14ish is plenty old. They can still dress up but hand out the candy to the kids and still have just as much fun, just not the big haul of candy.
What I don't like besides the teenagers are the ones who have infants only and walk up to collect treats for an infant that's dressed up in a stroller... um yeah that baby isn't eating that candy.

There is wron with people dressing up babies for Halloween. I don't think there is ever a thing as too old or too young. Just because a baby can't eat something doesn't mean they can't go. I was going to take my daughter this year and she is a baby. But her daddy had a surgery on halloween so I could t take her out. We also have something for all ages. Nose makers for the real little ones. Easy candy that melts for the toddlers and for the big kids all the hard candies.

13. I stopped trick or treating when I was 13. By thay age I wasn't into the whole candy bit and I wasn't excited about getting and wearing a costume.

I don't think you're ever too old for trick or treating. When my father was young, he went out at 12, and since he was tall for his age some woman said to him, "Don't you think you're a little old to be trick or treating?" I think it really hurt his feelings when he was younger. He never went after that. My friends and I stopped at around 14 or 15, I think that's the average age to stop, but if someone wants to still go out and have fun after that, I don't see a problem in it! I'm taking my nephew trick or treating this Halloween and I'm 21! Of course I won't get candy, but I'm still gonna dress up to make it more fun!

12 isn't young they are in the of going through puberty so that is an okay age to maybe say something to someone but only if you personally know them. I don't say anything at all. I let a person choice when they want to stop. When I was 15 I had people still coming to my house for candy at 18 so I would give them some of the candy that the real little kids couldn't have. When you have your own child your a your a bit to old for trick or treating for yourself so you go with your kids to have fun.
