When the Rohirrim reaches Gondor. They never been helped by them but they go, even if that means the end of a country. Beautiful! Théoden's speech, everything made me cry. Everytime I see that scene I think if the world, our regular Earth united there would be no Sauron, no darkness to stop us. No government to steal our money with taxes.

I think the scene where Théodred is being buried was the saddest for me. I can't remember if it actually made me cry, but it was a little bit heartbreaking. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been for Théoden (his father) to have to bury his only son.

I forgot this scene, Really beautiful and emotional dear, you are right. We see how YOUNG he is, just Éowyn's and Éomer's age, that was heart breaking. And Théodred's cousins already went through grief, now they lost their cousin and the father is not even awake, aware. When Théoden wakes up I find it so sad too.

Hi katie: LOTR is a very beautiful, emotional film and the visual effects are just perfect. For me, one of the most beautiful scenes of the film happens at the end when Frodo and Sam have accomplished their mission and Frodo can't remember how life was in his town because he has been so affected for all he has seen and his friend is with him protecting him. Don't exactly cry, but another strong emotional one was when Frodo and Sam, right after destroying the ring, where standing alone in a rock surrounded by lava from the volcano. They were happy for have fulfilled their task, and started remembering their home, but fully convinced that they're about to die right there and without any hopes to escape.
