I am both living and working on a very popular touristic island. I decided to come to visit this island at first after I had been jobless for six months. This island is small in size and it only takes around two hours walking on foot and 15 minutes by cycling. The progress of this island is very excessive. Due to increasing of visitor, new investor is coming to this island building hotel and restaurant every day. Now, this island is widely exploited by people. A lot of tree were cut down and will be replaced by concrete. It's getting hot and hotter day by day, and nobody seem care for the environment or heat on this island. It's so hot here and we have less air space. I'm not from this island and I came here for a work. someday, I will leave this island. But, I do really care of this island. To my opinion, the government need to release laws to limit exploitation and building construction. I presumed that in the next five years, no one can live here because of too hot. From your view, what do we happen to deal with?

Yeah, I think it's time to think more of environment, because environment is a field that almost be forgotten and it's not considered not as important as other field such as economy, politic, history and the like. I agreed that we must ask the government about their concern to the environment. Thanks for suggesting me and have a nice day.

It´s a pity, but unless you join forces, there´s nothing a single person can do. What I don´t understand is how a touristic island is turned into a concrete boulder. I have traveled to several island for vacations and there are lots of resorts with gardens, even with imported trees if the island did not have such a thing. The tourists want sea, good weather and nature, besides good lodgings. There are places with that. So why kill the hen that lays the gold eggs?
