I have to admit my favorite kind of album would probably be soundtracks. There are so many movies that I watch just for the music in them. Movies, TV shows, and even video games can have the most amazing music in them. Even so there is a bit of a variety within the soundtrack genre, though some don't really realize it. You can have score soundtracks which is the typically orchestral background music, regular soundtracks with vocal songs and sometimes orchestral music that is actually in the show, and then there are inspired by soundtracks. The third is one I typically don't like very much, its usually songs I don't know by artists I don't care for. I have found one that I love though, and I happened to get it with the collectors edition of the game its for. Batman Arkham City is one of the most amazing games I've ever seen and part of that is because of the music in it. The scores are amazing and so very powerful, and there are so many songs inspired by batman you can find many amazing ones. One of my favorite songs on the soundtrack is "Deranged" by Coheed and Cambria, I highly recommend you check it out. I love listening to it when I'm playing the game. What are some of your favorite soundtracks? Do you prefer to get a certain kind of soundtrack?

The soundtracks I like best are from the Pixar movies. Other movies not really but I do also enjoy the one from The Bodyguard because they are all Whitney's.
