Ever since I done my college, I found a job that is totally not related to what I studied. That is sad, I felt like all my money that spent on those courses been wasted. That is all for the living expense, and on a blink of eyes, I been working on this job for over 5 years. Last night, I dig up all the boxes, and I found this Visual Basic 6.0, a programming book I studied at college. After I flip through a couple of pages, I really want to study it all over again, and I want to do more than that. Should I start over from page 1, and practice my way through it all? Because I forgot most of it.

I believe it is like riding bicycle. You will not completly forget about it. I also studied programming a long time ago by myself. And my school and job is far from it. But I still can make some simple program without difficulty. It is fun to learn it again as hobby. And you might work as freelance programmer.

@kingparker: I believe you should. Although learning everything back is not easy, perhaps it is time for you to make a move. Why learn programming when you did not end up being a programmer or something better, isn't it?
At the very least, you can recall back what you have learned all this way and make something out of that. Programming software that helps the community in some ways, perhaps? Or developing your own tax program so you don't need to buy another? Just my two cents.
I learned programming whole my life, and I will continue to do so.
