Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ended with Will becoming the captain of Davy Jone's Ship and so he was not able to marry Elizabeth. He can only see her once every ten years. Were you disappointed with this ending?

Yes I was! I was so disappointed that he had to take over the ship and that he couldn't see Elizabeth anymore! All those fights and agony in the first and second movie only to succumb to futility in the third movie. How sad was that! All the angst and love they shared throughout their adventures, you would have thought that they would have a justified and happy ending. But no, the ending was so much worse and such a disappointment. I got so excited for the fourth movie because I thought Will would break out of that ship and return to Elizabeth. I haven't seen the film but my friends did. Turned out, the fourth movie had nothing to do with the first three and it adopted a completely different plot. I was so sad.

Not in the slightest, it was an original idea and not as predictable as the usual happy endings that people expect. I have enjoyed each one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films that I have seen. They are quite good fun and very entertaining. If I was concerned about happy endings then I would be more likely to watch a romance than a pirate film.
