I need a proper and a manner of etiquette or polite on how to answer that caller. It is valid and rerouted call and a serious situation.

Of course i would go and tell them if i know the way they want.Plus,it's really been a pleasure to help the person that needs help. It's such a pleasure to do so.Maybe because that i've been the volunteer of world horticultural expo,so it's really been my pleasure.lol

Well did the person specifically told you where he wanted to go and where he/she will be going... if that is the case i think it would be easy to answer the inquiry especially if i am fully aware of the location and of the transportation services the person is asking.

It depends on the situation. If I know the place exactly then why not give the proper direction and how that person can get there. but, if I am not familiar with the place I will ask for pardon and let the person asks other people who might know the place and can give direction.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking. what kind of transportation? Is the person asking to rent a car or directions to a location? If you know the answer you can give directions in a polite manner, if you don't know you could simply say : I am sorry I do not know this information or perhaps you can say : could you please hold while I redirect your call- providing ofcourse you could redirect the call to someone who would know. Not sure if that helps.
