What are you saying Johnson and Johnson?

I just saw an ad where a father is playing with his sons at home and the voice over says once you wold look forward to poker night . Who knew staying home with the boys would be more fun. Then it says Having a Baby changed Everything. Now I am confused. Are they saying if you want to keep your poker night , never have kids? Or If you are bored with poker night , have babies?Or are they saying dads that Still look forward to poker night are not good enough fathers? I don't get it. What are your thoughts?

Maybe they are saying that your values have changed....that's what I think....like family is more important then playing poker...and much more fun. If that is your choice. I don't think they mean anything about dropping out of life just because you have a baby. For those who want them it totally enriches their life.

I think they were just joking. I'm pretty sure they were insinuating that instead of going out to play poker, now that he's a dad, he'd rather stay home with his son. I think it's adorable. When someone becomes a father, their priorities vastly change. The fact that he'd stay home with his son instead of going out to play poker is admirable and adorable if you ask me. :)

To play devils advocate, I think they are aiming at new fathers who could never have imagined anything else before children. Like marriage, parenthood appears to have a type of honeymoon phase. After a while a routine will develop where both parents will find a way to balance family, marriage, work, and leisure.

and I think the saying should be, A baby changes Everything So Make sure abortions Remain legal!I wonder how many men would delay or just not have kids if they Truly knew they may never get to play poker Once a week?

Oh, they don't mean that of course. It just means that the dad is discovering that its so much more fun playing with his children. And Johnson & Johnson products apparently help out with that.

My take is that it's just saying that your priorities shift when you have kids. It's not a dig at anyone who enjoys poker night, or anyone who doesn't. It's just trying to sell products.

But they don't show Any of their products. Now I think it is a PSA sponsored by Johnson and Johnson.Which is worse.

I think there trying to sell a product and that anything can be twisted to different meanings but manly i think there trying to say being home the kids you have can be a lot of fun. so buy are product and let us make money so we can take care of are family and save it or wast it on poker!

Well, I did not see this commercial, but I hear what you're saying. There is no reason a father cannot have kids and poker night. After all, he is still a human and needs time with his friends. Sometimes they just don't explain these commercials very good.

The logo Johnson and Johnson doesn't show up until the last second. So it looks like a PSA.

Some suit! I can hear the pitch. " And the great thing is we don't show the product!" And then another suit agrees!

Now that makes no sense at all. I sometimes wonder who the hell is making the decision on these commercials.
