Web site design resources for beginners

My daughter has been currently learning about web designing. She's currently looking and trying out http://www.psdbucket.com/ Anyone had an experience in trying out the site? She tells me that it is a good site for graphic and web designers. She also tells me that the site is good for designers to showcase their work. Any thoughts?

This site is good, I have never use it personaly because I use some other sites. Basicly sites where I post my photos that I made. It is good to recieve some coments, good and bad, all are welcome.

Yes, it is a good site and one gets to have recognition, no matter how small. It's a kind of ego booster.

You should try out this site... http://teamtreehouse.com ...they're just not into web designing but also into development, and the best thing, their video tutorials are updated and FREE. They even have a video tuts on HTML 5 web dev.

Yes, It's good website to learn web designing. I have not used this website any time because there are many website available on internet for web design beginners and it's hard to choose any one. As per my view, W3school.com is the best website to learn web design.
