What the heck? A boy named AndrewDiMarzio, from Raynham, MA, had to consider arranging for the family car to bring his tenor saxophone. Why? The bus is always filled to capacity and having that with him threatens the safety of others. Well, I had absolutely no problems bringing band instruments in the buses. Why? I played the B-flat soprano clarinet throughout middle school and nobody minded about me bringing it on my rides. Heck, I've even seen long-ape trombone cases being brought aboard the regular buses alongside flute and trumpet cases. But the district where that boy lives restricts instruments brought on the buses to flutes and clarinets. I know what you are thinking: shouldn't the mother have brought his flutin' tenor sax instead? That mother had to sacrifice her job so she can taxi his butt to school with it. What do you think about this? Source: www.foxnews.com/us/2011/10/19/massachusetts-boy-banned-from-bringing-saxophone-on-school-bus
