Why it takes so long to open this webpage?

When I open this webpage,http://www.mylot.com it often takes me about 1 to 2 minutes. And when I click any theme such as interests, discussions, friends etc, they also takes long time. I'd like to ask my lot frends, what is the reason? Is it because my computer is not good or any other reasons? Do you have this problem?

First thing is check your computer configurations and if you have low configuration it does effect the website downloading speed and then see internet connection and if it is very low download speed then it will be slow and lastly virus problems also causes slowness of the system.More and more members and posts here also makes the site to be upgraded every now and then as there will be thousands of people browsing this site everyday and handling this much traffic itself is a big head ache for website maintenance people and this in turn makes site slower sometimes

Hi, there must be something wrong with your connection. Please check that... MyLot doesn't take a lot of time. There are times when it gets a little slow but thats a rare thing. I use it on my phone and yet I'm quite happy with its speed. It's been quite satisfactory and it's been fine. MyLot is a huge site, the database should be enormous. There 250,000 members, and I guess, it is the first time that I'm reading a complaint about its speed...
