My Vote's for Herman

Granting the reality that the 2012 Republican Presidential nominee is far from being named, I have still arrived at a decision as to whom will receive my vote. No secret. The title says it all. My vote's for Herman! I'll admit - I wasn't overly thrilled with any candidate. I'm still not. But if you line these guys up, at least if you're like me, you see nothing but a circus. Career politicians. Opportunists. Liars. Flip-floppers. Folks too beholden to big business and thus the almighty dollar. Former Democrats attempting to get in where they fit in. Creepy dudes and crazy-eyed ladies who look like Seth MacFarlane's first attempt to make caricatures from a Stephen King book. The field is really sloppy. Then there's Herman. He reminds me of Ray Stevens' song, Along Came Jones. Not that Herman's a hero; just that I have "Along came Jones" playing in my head every time I see Herman these days. He also seems to have the least amount of stink on him. So he's spoken about abortion and stirred up some controversy. So his 999 plan isn't perfect. Is that it? That's what would keep people from voting Cain? Yeah, because the rest of 'em have so much more going for them. I wasn't completely sold on Herman until I saw this ad. And I'm being serious. This ad rocks out with its clock out. I love it! It just put it over the top. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhm-22Q0PuM Would you vote for Herman? Why or why not?

Oh, I forgot one thing that everyone will probably hear about, the tax lien that was levied on him. He had just learned of his stage 4 cancer and neglected some business details as he entered treatment. He paid it but he did have that lien. Anyone who will fulfill his obligations (he'd committed to a speech before he was ill) while hooked up to a medication pack has the determination, integrity and guts that I want in a president.

I also think his decisive decision to meet and fight his cancer prognosis as soon as he got the news is exactly the kind of person we need to made decision for our country.

I've listened to Herman for years on the radio and enjoyed his perspective on current events. He's level headed and when you ask him a question he gives a straight answer--no tip toeing around! He's had my vote since he said he was thinking of running. I'll vote for him for nominee if he can make it that far past the losers he's running against. Another thing--when he's wrong, he admits it. What politician do you know that does that?! I don't want a politician--I want someone who understand economics and knows how to pick good advisers. That's Herman---GO HERMAN!!!

People will undoubtedly find faults. As I was writing my initial post, I forgot that he kinda stepped in it with the whole Muslim bit. But that still only puts him at a few real blunders. So compared to everyone else, he seems to be squeaky clean. And he certainly doesn't seem afraid to tell it how it is. One of my biggest beefs with Obama is that I feel he's a fake politician. We know he believes in wealth redistribution. We know he's a collective salvation guy. We know he wants to exponentially grow the government. But he won't own up to it. It's all done in an underhanded way and that's just disgusting. I'd disagree with him if he owned it, but at least he'd be owning it. I'd respect him. So I respect Herman right now, and that's a lot coming from me. Thanks for the response.

Personally I think Herman Cain would be a Good choice for President and wish more people would see that. Personally if he would run alone I would Vote for him. A lot of the things I have seen on him I agree with and think he is for the American people not just to get the Vote. People that are against him are either against some of what he believes in or just not wanting a change. But does he have a chance, I think it is too early to tell.

It the moment Herman is also my choice. He does not reek of the stink I associate with professional politicans. We need a person with a lot of business acumen to get our country back on it's feet. Obama is a megalomaniac who has destroyed our country just to get his own way in everything.
