If you see someone being mistreated at work, what do you do ? Do you help or do you mind your own business? WHat if the mistreatment is done by the boss? Would you have courage to stand up to the boss? What if its the owner. ? would you stand up to the owner of a company who is obviously hurting someone. ? For whatever you answer, please supply your reason. Joy

I stand up for them, I stood up in school against other people's bullying too. I don't care no one ever done to me, I won't be that person. I think bullies and those who misthreat others should go down and be ashame of that. I preatty much make sure they be really ashamed of. Great day MyLotter!

Good for you dear Katie. It takes alot of courage to stand up for those who are being hurt, especially when it may not be the popular thing to do.

First it is better to tell them sensitively, then it is better to leave about them. Because world is not empty, its full of many friends.

who are you referring to when you say "tell it to them sensitively" ? Thanks for your input into this topic, however.

If someone at work was being mistreated I would evaluate the situation before getting involved. I would hope this person would be able to handle him or herself without others intervening. If determined the accused needed my help, I would speak directly to them and offer whatever suggestions I felt would be helpful. If found that an illegal act had been committed, I would possibly contact the authorities and let them handle it.

Depends on the situation. If it is really worst like involving some physical abuse,of course I will not keep on watch but sure to do some move. If it is emotional, like cursing, now I will need to observe the situation. maybe my co-worker is doing something wrong/mistake that need some help from other office mates.

so Jaiho you say there are times when you feel a boss or supervisor has the right to abuse or mistreat an employee?

Hi little franciscan: This is a really sad situation. I think in this case I would feel sad for him/ her and I would try to offer my friendship to this person and if he/ she opens his/ her heart to me I will say what I think and I will try to give him/ her my advice to make this stitaution stop but in the end is up to him/ her to make this situation stop.
