Obama has always used lobbyists, and always will.

I just read a "news" article about Obama accepting campaign contributions from lobbyists. In his 2008 campaign, Obama made it very clear that he wouldn't allow lobbyists any part in his administration.
Yet, he has appointed lobbyists to his corps of "czars" as well as to his official cabinet. He meets with some lobbyists more than either his czars or cabinet members. Lobbyists played major parts in writing bills, including the Health Care bill, the bail outs, buy outs, and the latest "jobs" bill.
The incompetent press makes it sound like this is the first time he's never done it before.
These aren't small time lobbyists either.. they come from big pharma, telecom, and other major players in their industries... and lobbying.

See, it's with articles like these where I'm confused by the rhetoric that claims "Obama is a socialist." If anything, he's playing into the hands of corporatocracy (Yes, I swear, that is an actual word). I completely agree that this is a shameful act.

Well, there is room for confusion. He isn't only a socialist, he is about government power. He doesn't care what form it comes in.
If you look at it from that standpoint, then what he does makes perfect sense. He will use the tools of all economic and government systems to help bring about his goals. To him they aren't so much systems and strategies.
The more systems he "borrows" from, the more plausible deniability he fosters.

I'm sorry, but again I must protest against the use of the word "socialist." A socialist would promote democratic control of the workplace, yet clearly Obama gives considerable preference to wealthy lobbyists. As for government power, again, that's a characteristic of an authoritarian, not necessarily a socialist.

It is beyond my understanding why this usurper still hold the positions of president. He is a scam artist, thief and liar of the first degree. We the people need to wake up to this scammer.
We know that to be president one must be natural born citizen and BOTH parents must be American Citizens: Most scholars and politicians currently agree that the term includes those born on U.S. soil, as well as those born to U.S. citizen parents regardless of place of birth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-born-citizen_clause_of_the_U.S._Constitution
It is obvious Obama Sr. was not a US citizen.

Obama has me convinced. He is nothing but a sack of lies and corruption, the worst politician you can imagine coming out of corrupt Chicago politics.
In Michelle Malkin's book, "Culture of Corruption" She gives lots of examples of how Biden and Obama are owned the lobbyists. Her subtitle says it all: "Obama and his team of tax cheats, crooks and cronies!"

If the people don't learn a lesson from this and vote accordingly in 2012, I give up on this country. I might move to Costa Rica or somewhere. Really, how have we gotten this far with so many useful idiots?
