Black Friday Sales start on Friday, November 25, 2011. Some shops open as early as 4am or earlier, on the 26th. It's the busiest shopping day of the year! How many of you plan on standing in them lines? Have ya ever witnessed a Black Friday, personally? Was it worth the hassle? Did ya get the bargains you were looking for? Did ya make it home safe?

I have never done it, but my daughter and her daughter do it every year! They really look forward to it! They do get some great bargains and deals tho. So I guess it is worth their time...me... I just never had much money to spend like that and standing in those lines...heck I stand in lines all year round these days cause they have one checker open and the line is 15 people long! I guess mainly.. I don't like the crowds..to many rude and inconsiderate people and they bring their kids that do nothing but scream and yell and be ill-behaved. Something like that...you need to leave the little ones at home. I just don't see any enjoyment in Black Friday...however...they do have a Cyber Monday which is hte same idea...just online purchases... haven't done that either. Don't buy much online as I don'tlike giving out my credit card/bank account infor for payment. I'll just watch the sales after that and get what I need to get.

Yea, my daughters look forward to it also. They're also younger than me, that helps I guess...lol....I agree with you though. The lines and the people do get to me. Some are SO rude. They cut in line, make smart remarks, the lil ones are running around, etc. I don't think I'll be participating this year. I'll just hand them a list, if needed. As for Cyber Monday, I don't shop online either. I'll be doing the same....looking out for the "after" sales.

I've never experienced a black Friday before, but with the new job I'm starting I'm afraid I'm gonna have to. Not as a customer though, but as an employee. Needless to say I don't look forward to it. Happy mylotting!

All the people pushing and shoving just to get through the door! No way! L.O.L. They are all crazy!! I think I am going in a couple of weeks to get some presents but no Black Friday fro me no way!!

I actually have never been to a Black Friday Sale because I was not willing to wait in line, sleep all night in the street or wake up early. But with the economy right now I will do no matter what to save. I just went to a mall sale where most of the items where 50% off. There were a lot of people. Like I mean A LOT!

You need to go at least once, to experience the rush! You will find some great bargains. I love them 50% off sales! Yea, the malls have been packed here as well. People are starting their shopping early or finishing up.....Unfortunately, it isn't me...lol

Unfortunately, I have to work on Black Friday this year. I'm actually dreading it because Victoria's Secret opens at 10 PM THANKSGIVING!! I don't want to get scheduled for some early shift and I'll be so mad if that happens. The mall I work at is extremely crowded and I'm sure Victoria's Secret will be too. So that means a lot of trying to fix the panty display after people mess it up and helping people look for things lol. Normally, I steer clear of any mall or store on Black Friday because I just don't want to deal with it.
