This time it is a McRib ad. A newly wed guy che ks his cellphone and his wife says " No cellphones on the honeymoon!" But then he sees that he is going to miss McRib. She says " I married a 14 year old!" my first thought was , then get it annulled! since he is Obliviously beneath you . And just because he will miss the McRib! What is really bad is that Where ever they are going will have a McDonalds! What gets me is the wife demeaning the guyt Just because he loves Mc Rib ! Really! What is really sad ad does the opposite of what they intended. They wanted me to Want to go get a MCRib and all it does is make me want to boycott McRibs! Have you ever had the complete opposite reaction to a t.v. ad?

You really do take commercials waaaayyyy to seriously. If it doesn't make you want to buy it then it didn't do its job. End of story. It was just a joke, not a real life scenario. So what if there was one where they were going? She is not demeaning him at all. IT IS JUST A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a joke, they weren't calling men idiots, why would you waste mcdonalds time calling them about a commercial, they don't care whether you liked it or not, they saw increased sales which is all that matters to them.

Oh No! Really?! My favorite went from a regular McD's to a asian based decor. Wood panels and white tables and lime green color theme.

Your one sounds better than mine. I must have another look as they are pretty standard across the board.

I've never seen the advert you're talking about, but from your description it makes me think that the guy is a right saddo! I can't imagine a McRib eliciting any emotion in me other than mild interest if I were hungry.

Saddo? Does this mean he is a loser? You ,mean you have never Lusted after a food. I mean crave it so much you counted the hours before you could have it? I have. It is a cheesesteak! And if my love called me a 14 year old because I was bummed that I couldn't have a cheesesteak, it would be over. I would have left him in the airport!

Let me be forever a 14 year old when it comes to food. So in a way if my guy Ever thought that this would make me change it in for a awakening! Because the one thing I would change is him!

No, I can honestly say that I've never lusted after a food or counted the hours until I can have it! If my love called me a 14 year old because I was bummed that I couldn't have a cheesesteak I'd think he was perfectly justified. Sounds like we have different diets huh?

I haven't seen the commercial. But the way you describe it, does make it sound really lame and stupid. Like the wife is going to leave the guy because he wanted a McRib sandwich. There are a ton of McDonald's restaurants all over the world. I think the management and marketing at McDonald's should make more interesting commercials.

I think they were going on their honeymoon. what man has something from McDonalds on his mind anyway? Like others said there will be a McDonalds wherever you go normally unless you are going on a cruise. Have not seen one on the cruise ships yet LOL The commercial that gets me is that little girl with the lemonade stand and how she grows her business from Verizon. Come on...the government will no longer let our little kids have a a koolaide or lemonade stand without asking them where their permit is? So many children have been brought under court action just because they wanted to make a couple dollars on koolaide or lemonade. that commercial I felt using that young age was really out of line.

That sounds like a totally stupid commercial. You're right, the wife should not demean the husband for a McRib sandwich. Also, I would feel the same way, why would I want to go out and buy a McRib after seeing this commercial. Like I said before, who the hell comes up with this stuff.
