Getting old.

I am contemplating my life.
And simple things, the most simple grab my attention.
Like for instance BOWEL MOVEMENTS. Or the lack thereof.
I remember when I was a kid, my grandfather always seemed to have on hand, prune juice or stewed prunes. He said it was to keep the pipes lubricated.
I confess I didn't understand. But today, it came to me and I laughed to myself.
He also said when he 'broke wind' not excuse me. No, his was always "Better a noisy neighbour than a poor tenant."
As I age, I find myself gravitating that way. And I'm teaching MY grandson those ways too.
Share a glass of prune juice? Cheers.

You need more fibre in your diet, dear, and don't water, too.

Where the heck did that 'don't' come from? Definitely, take in lots of liquids.
