Someone is working overtime digging up dirt on Herman Cain. Lots of people were complaining how boring the Republican candidates and their debates were. Now, someone has thrown some red meat into the arena and the media is eating it up.
Can Herman Cain overcome this allegation? Yes, I think he can handle this well and come out of it as a stronger candidate.

Anyone with a brain knows these allegations are just trumped up.

In politics it doesn't matter if the allegations are true, the only thing that matters is how you deal with it. And, he didn't do a great job of dealing with this.

No proof, no evidence, not even any names. Just incompetent reporters passing rumors for political gain.
But Debater is right, liars want to be lied to, so liars will accept these allegations no matter what.

I think he can as well, but he has got to do a better job of defending himself. He isn't use to the political hit machines that are coming at him, and your first response is usually the most important. He will have to do a better job at damage control in the future. Now you know why it cost so much to become president: You have to have people who can react at a moments notice to ANYTHING in your past. You would probably be surprised what his own people know about him.
