philippine health insurace application

hi there, does any one knows how to apply or use PhilHealth for my pregnant wife, she's about to give birth to our first baby probably this week, at first her OB told us that she could have a normal delivery, since our due date is about to come this week, the OB is now telling us that, she will be Cesarean and she no way accepting philhealth for discount then referred us on JBL, i think they were accepting philhealth so could avail some discount, but i do not have any knowledge how to process my papers.
i just want my papers to be accomplished right away, but the celebration for all Souls Day seems to slow the preparation.
how about you fellow mylotters have you ever experienced a situation like i did?

What you need to do is prepare your philhealth card, ID or what ever Philhealth may require. No matter how eager you are to process it today you have nothing to do but to wait until tomorrow, it's holiday today and regular working day will only resume tomorrow. Don't worry as i know it will not give you hard time as they have a smooth transactions. Hope to have a safe delivery to your wife. Good luck to your first baby :)

thank you for the information as well as to your concern, actually all result from her previous check ups tells that our baby is okay and her health was okay, the only thing that bothers me is that, this is our first baby, she may feel a little afraid or confuse and the possibility of induction which i wont letting to happen, so the decision is her to undergo cesarean. Quite expensive than normal delivery so, i'll be needing my Philhealth insurance. i am so excited any way.
