Friends... Would you rather have your favorite shoes repaired or would you prefer to buy a new pair?

I would have it repaired if the shoe is not totally damage but I would also get a new one for a spare. I want to share this site www.lifo.com.It's a fun site. It is an online hub for girls that let them have a virtual closet, read and write about the latest fashion and beauty and celebrity trends.

For me, my favorite shoes are priceless. I usually buy very expensive shoes an my feet are the kind that hurt. I don´t buy the shoes that are expensive because they are cool, but the kind that fit perfectly with almost no heels and soft leather inside and out. Those shoes last a long time (years sometimes) and I take care of having them repaired when there´s minor damage. Buying a new pair is usually very difficult and can take months. Many times, I have bought a new pair thinking they will be just right and I have had to give them away to my eldest daughter.

i refuse to buy shoes that are more than $30 so for that amount, i will just go out and watch for shoe sales and buy brand new.

Well it depends. If the shoe is not a quality leather shoe with a sole that's actually been stitched on odds are it's just junk. It's hard to find places that do shoe repair anymore as it is let alone afford a quality leather shoe.

Hi Graceekwenz, since my shoes are quite cheap, it does not make sense for me to send for repair. I would rather buy new shoes. Sometimes, I will send my new shoes for repair, so that the shoes can last much longer. For example, certain sport shoes are glued together. I rather send for repair, so that they can sew the shoes. In this case, the shoes can last much longer.

It depends on what type of repair. If simple repairs, yes, if not I would rather buy a new shoe.
