my discussions are boring

It can be various kinds of reasons that people don't respond to your discussions. Especially you are not active in Mylot. Or you don't have many friends here. It is hard to say which topic will be attractive. If your topic is special and brief, then people shall pay attention to it. Try to write your topic much more attractive. Good luck! I love China

Good. In fact I was thinking of a similar topic for discussion. Title of the topic is important to make people respond. Also topic of interest like mylot, computer, internet make extra money, make money will get more responses. You see this title is interesting and that is why within three hours you have received more than ten responses. In my experience even if a topic is not found interesting I use to have my close friends in mylot respond and I use to get minimum three or four responses. But topics like food etc. many people will participate and I use to get nearly 30 responses. have a nice day.

Ohhhhhh friend I have not more time so join mylot less time but whenever join and possible respond on maximum discussion and commenting on my responses. No your discussion is also good and title is also good dont feel this I am with you.

Maybe it's because I haven't made responses to discussions my friends' started. That would probably be the reason. You have to be active here so that others may notice you. As there are so many discussions being started daily, some may not have noticed your discussions as most of them would be responding to their friends' discussions first which are being sent to their inbox.

Seriously this question often comes in my mind too. Me too will be looking for informative responses here so that from next time we both can start some attractive discussions.

Well, the title of this topic is attention catching. I was tempted. Tempted to write yes, one word and that is it. Why? Just as a joke but I would never actually do that for several reasons, the guidelines say otherwise and also more importantly for myself I would be afraid that someone could be hurt by that. In other words, what is meant to be a harmless childish joke could actually be hurtful and I would never take that chance. So the child in me has to wait. So seriously now, make no mistake about this. Do now fear that your topics might be boring. You are not boring. What you write will never be boring because you are unique and interesting. The everyday things and your perspectives are different than others so this makes you interesting to them. The only thing to consider is depending on the mood, time of day, subject that a person is looking at, it may not be inline with yours so few responses can happen but this is alright I think, if you get quality responses? My fear is what I write does not get read and when I see someone responding after I wrote something, I know they read it and that makes me want to respond even more.

Posting a topic is one thing. Turning it into a discussion is something else and that is where the fun starts. When you receive responses, do you comment back to them, adding something else that will make those who responded come back and add some more? Or do you just thank them for what they said without leaving space for them to come back? The successful discussions here might not only be due to an interesting topic but also because the user who started them is involved with them after they receive responses. If you come back and keep commenting and keep the discussion moving forward, then others will see it because it will be in the other tabs (recent, similar topics and then maybe hot too) and they will join in. Don't give up just keep practising!

Discussions are never boring! but I have to say some people only respond to those discussion if it fit with their own interest...that is all please keep on posting.

i think it is OK as long as you enjoy your discussion..\everyone had a different interest with us and we can not push everyone for responding our discussion..\just make your discussion like water flow in river...and you can enjoy and do not frustrated because none of us respond your discussion

Hi! pahak, you see it is not only you who have experienced posting a discussion and no one responded. If you see or go to discussions not responded at the menu chart you could see that there are lot others. Even i myself have posted a discussion with very few responses but i have posted also discussions with many reponses. I think, based on my discussions, topics that centered on our daily activities and experiences that a lot of people have expereinced too, receives more reponses. Some of my friends start a discussion with a question while others are asking for opinions. It is really difficult to choose a topic but just keep on posting topics that are relevant and quality ones.

This is my thought regarding your topic may be your topics are already discussion long time ago or may be duplicated. Your title may be not really chatchy in the eyes of mylotters, may be your presentation of topic is bit boring or just answering by yes or no. So try to look for that option and try to make a topic that very timely, controversy and intriging.

Hi! I think people have their own reasons and interest.It depends on that but just be yourself and post things that you like and not what others like unless your main goal is really to earn here but if it is only for fun than do as you wish.

We can't that one topics is interesting and the other is not. The only thing is the discussion you have started must be attractable and seems some what new. Also be active in mylot..

hti pahak you discussions are interesting its just thatyouneed to put a bit of pizzaz in your title. make it interesting and eye catching so people will really read your discussion. and then really comment back on the responses you get, not thanks but a real comment showing that you really read it. be more activce and you will get responses, respond a lot to others and they will respond to you too.

I'm sure every mylotter has many things to do out side there. They are busy with their mylot as well. I think why you have not response to your discussion, because every body do same thing like waiting your discussion to be responded. If everybody wait their post to be responded, no one will start a post and no more activity here then. So, why don't we make a post again, because everybody wanted more money, so they write a more creative post, so I'm sure you will get more responses. Okay
