iTunes homesharing not working

I recently set up a homesharing account between my laptop and my old PC. Both connected fine and were confirmed as part of the network. However, I can only seem to transfer the songs from my laptop onto my PC but not the other way around. I have tried updating iTunes but still the Sharing menu does not appear on my laptop iTunes, despite the fact that it was there a few minutes ago. even when it was showing up it kept exiting the library whenever i tried to transfer the songs from my PC to my Laptop. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Birdie -
