I was doing tasks in microworkers when I came across this site. It's like a question and answer site. Pretty much like yahoo answers but, if your answer is chosen, you get to win a prize! I was shocked to see that you can win up to $3.5k and maybe more 
. Sounds easy? No
. It's not as easy as you think 'cause you have to compete with a lot of people who also wants to get that prize. But there's no harm in trying, right?
Oh, one more thing. I'm not sure it's legit. 
Has anyone here tried doing that? Can yopu tell your experiences with the site? Thanks.

yeah it is open for international members. I can say it is worth the time if you have good skills and very creative. Most contests in prizes are about naming a certain thing naming a pet, a new website, a new brand or new restaurant and also many contest about making logo for a company if you are a good graphic artist you can earn a lot there I saw 1 guy there who have won more than 20 contests soem of those he earned $500 in just one contest.

I also think that it is worth trying. Some of the contests there are pretty easy like naming a website or creating a company slogan. Some are also challenging and would require a lot of skills like creating a company logo and website. If you have skills on these, you could give prizes.org a shot. I tell you, the rewards are worth your effort and time.

Hi Lara I am a member of prizes too, yeah the prizes the contest creator offers now are getting bigger just a few months ago the highest prize you can see there is around $200 but right now there are some contests offering more than a thousand bucks. It's a good place especially for those who have good skills regarding making logo and web design because those are the common contest there it is more like combination of freelancing and yahoo answer. I always enter the contests regarding naming things like new name for a website or for a new brand but i haven't won there yet. Right now I think it is much harder to win because there are more members now. YOu can also start your own contest there if you verify your account you can get $110 that you can use to create a contest, you can use $10 as it is but if you use $100 for a contest you create you need to add $50 from your own pocket. No that is not allowed there when you create a contest you will also indicate when the contest will expire and after that time expire you can choose the winner of the contest or extend the contest for a few days (I think 3 or 7 days but I'm not sure) then after that you need to choose the winner and if you don't choose the entry with the highest vote will be chosen by prizes as the default winner and get the prize you offer. I agree. Those who have skills on web designing and creating logos have the largest chance to earn good money there. How long have you been joining contests at prizes.org? Can you clarify me about something? What if I created a contest and a lot have participated. However, in the end, I did not choose the best answer, but still, I used one of the responses there without paying the contributor. Do you think this scenario is plausible? Do you think some of those who create a contest in that site are scamming the members?

You are right, the chances of winning a contest is really small. Especially when the prize is high and there are a lot of members eyeing for that prize. Yet, I'm still trying my luck. I will not spend most of my time there. I will visit it every once in a while. I joined two contests already and I'm hoping to win.
