Life and Eternity

I had read a book a while ago and was truly mesmerized by this lines in it: "Measured against eternity, our time here on earth is just a blink of an eye but the consequences of it will last forever. The deeds of this life are the destiny of the next". My dear friends and fellow mylotters, what can you say about that line?
