I'm talking about something you wanna do in your life, like work or hobby in which you are sure you are passionate about. I have asked a lot of people and most them don't really what's their passion in life. Some people just treat my question as a joke and I can't get anything serious about their answers. I put this issue in a discussion because I want myself to find out what is really my passion. I want to know if there's a sign that it is your passion or are there people born in this world who has no passion. A lot of people are telling us that if you live your passion you will be happy and fulfilled. And if you can turn your passion into something rewarding to you such if your job or business is related to something you are deeply passionate about, then you not get bored and you will be energetic every time you work on it. So I envy and admire those people who has find out their passion early in their life. How about you? What's your experiences regarding your passion. Have you already find it out or just like your still working on discovering it?

My life is filled with never ending passion. My passion for my family, passion for education, and passion for my dreams. You will know if it is your passion if you love doing it. First and foremost, my passion for my family. I want to spend most of my time with my family. I want to help them in their problems. I want them to be happy always. I consider my family as my strength in life. Passion is all about love and I love my family so much. Second, my passion for education. I believe that education is the key to success. Education does not limit only on books. We learn or be educated also through experiences in life. If we have strong foundation of education, our mind will be nurtured productively. Through education, we receive light; we learn. Again, passion is all about love and I love educating myself so much. Last but definitely not the least, my passion for my dreams. As a human being, I have many dreams in life; a dream not only for myself but also for my families and relatives. I dream to become successful in my craft. I dream to design bridges and buildings someday. I dream to provide better house and living for my family someday. Again, passion is all about love and I love fulfilling my dreams so much.

I tend to agree with another poster here that if something is your passion then you are very animated when speaking about it. You will never tire about describing it to someone, may be to the point of boring them. One finds it necessary to discover one's passion especially if one is bored with life as it goes on,or one feels unfulfilled about whatever is happening to one's life. Sometime back i.e around 9 years ago, I entered into forums like this just to fight the sense of meaninglessness that was coming over me. Then I thought writing and answering questions on several aspects of life was my passion. But as time passed this interest seemed to have waned. I do write now, but that is more to keep in touch rather than make it a way of life.Time passed and I rediscovered my love for the Sanskrit Language learning. I picked up the threads where I left and took seriously to acquiring formal qualifications. My search lead me to several options and I am deeply into it as of now. To me it seems like if you are working on your passion and that was the way for you, somehow Providence would 'conspire' to provide you the opportunity to go straight ahead!

So it seems that your great interest in writing and making it a way of life faded or lessened it's intensity. Maybe because as human being, there's no permanent , everything around us change and even our desires, interest and passion.

It is not that I have found that writing/publishing had lessened in importance for me. What I meant to convey was the discovery of one’s inner passion is not a very quick process if that lies buried under layers or humdrum activities that you take up in a bid to cater to day-to-day requirements. Blessed are those who get to work in the area of their passion- like my wife for instance. She is a Clinical Psychologist by training, who gave up going for Ph.D instead went into psychotherapy as a private practitioner. She is doing well. And very well … to good reviews and recommendations. Why? That is her passion. It has also turned out to be what she does for a living. Not everyone will have that kind of an opportunity. It took me sometime to discover or should I say rediscover my passion for Sanskrit. Even then my efforts weren’t fruitful. It is only on my third attempt after changing strategies that I have been able to engage myself in my passion. Now, it has to bear fruit and when that happens I could combine both my passions of writing and then Sanskrit.

I have many passions; I would consider myself a very enthusiastic, passionate person, but like a lot of people of this kind, I also suffer from mood swings; and I can suffer from great loss of energy. My passions include writing: http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/carlhalling I am also passionate about music http://youtube.com/carlhalling And acting...indeed the arts in general, or rather literature, music, the theatre, the cinema. I'm passionate about creating and creativity. Ideas in general; anything that stimulates my mind, and my mind is very susceptible to stimulation. I'm passionate about my family. And friends. The people I have known and liked and loved. About my past. I love my country, England. I am passionate about history. And then there is my Christian faith. Withough it I'd be lost. It means everything to me.

These are an example of my passions...but there are others. As I say...I am a passionate person in general, tending to extremes of enthusiasm.

You can sense when someone is doing something they are passionate about. They are more animated when they talk about it and talking about it comes easily to them. They just seem to light up.

I guess that I am still in the process of trying to discover my passion. Although I am not the smartest person in the world, I knew that if you love to do something, you will go all the way, and you will grab every precious moment to work toward your goal. I still believe there is a wildfire inside of me, and I can release it to do something great. Maybe my greatest passion right now is to earn as much money as possible.

Well if making money would be considered as a passion, then I could say that's also one of my passion.

Well we're on the same boat, I am also struggling on how to find out my ultimate passion, I know I love to do a lot of things. But there's one thing I want to develop, it's about my writing skills and abilities, because I know deep inside my heart I have a passion for writing because every time I write about something I am really interested in, I feel so happy and fulfilled, though just like you I'm not yet satisfied with my writing skills right now. Maybe because I took up courses in college not related to writing so I haven't had a chance to improve it.

My passion is traveling to different countries in the world. I prefer to have it as a hobby than a career. I work as a primary school teacher. I love children and I am interested in education. So therefore it is the ideal career to for me. I love animals so I eat a vegan diet. I have two pet dogs and treat them well. I am keen on reading and writing.

I think if something comes naturally to you, and you've excelled or showed interest in something even since you were a child, that would be your true passion. My true passion is writing, since it's always came so easily to me, and I've done well in it since I was a kid. My dads passion is guitar since he's been interested in it since he was a young child. I think it all depends on what you've felt highly drawn to in your past, present, and future.

I found my passion in life. That is to travel the world and be able to spread how great every city that I have been to to everyone I know. I have attended Engineering and Computer Studies courses when I was in college but I didn't pursue a career on both fields because I felt something is lacking. After that I found where my heart lies, travel, travel and travel. hehehe... So what I did was enroll myself to a basic course for travel agents and the rest is history. I have been working in a travel agency for more than 6 years now. It is not an easy task to take care of someone else's travel plans. You have to be keen on every detail and hope nothing happens along the way. But it really makes my day when your clients call you after their trip and tell me that they had a wonderful time with the city they come to visit. Also, I work hard everyday to ensure that I give time and budget to my travels every year. hehehe...

I already found my passion in life. That is to travel to different places and share how wonderful every city is to everyone I know. I have studied Engineering and Computer studies when I was in college but after that I wasn't interested in pursuing it as a career. And that is when I also found my true passion. I studied the basics of how to be a good travel agent and behold, have been in the industry for more than 6 years now. Even though it is tiring to take care of someone's travel plans, I don't see it as a burden. I try to give it my best to get what they want and see the happy smiles on their after they return from their vacation. At the same time, I try to work hard just so I can save for my upcoming travels. hehehe...

You would know that it is your passion if you would do whatever it takes just to fulfill your goal. You will also try anything just to make your passion outshine

It is your passion if you are thinking of it (better doing it) night and day, if you are always busy with it, if everything reminds you of it, if you are willing to skip other things because of that, if it makes you feel happy/great even if others give you a hard time. My passion is my shelter, the animals, even I can't stand most of the owners because they are so selfish and made problematic animals out of the ones they dump at my doorstep.

This is what I was told and I hope it can help you....If it is the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about at night then that is what you are meant to do. If when you wake up the first thing you think about is writing and when you go to sleep the last thing you think about is writing then you are a writer. I think somewhere deep inside ourselves we all know what our passion is but we subconsiously dismiss it because it doesnt seem reasonable or responsible or maybe it just doesnt even seem possible. I think the first step to deciding what your true passion is is to give yourself permission to explore anything and everything that comes to your mind even if others may look upon it as weird or taboo. If you think you may want to spend your life chasing tornadoes or feeding hungry children in a remote village in africa whatever it is that comes to your mind give yourself the permission to explore the possibilities. You will find that one day you will explore one of these possibilities and never want to look back you will have found what it is you were meant for in this life.

Passion is something which come out of inner thoughts to do things...And passion varies from person to person. I have lot of passion to take photo's and am a free lancer...this taste is not there to others...hence passion varies from person to person.

I have several passions, some were fulfilled but eventually lost the opportunity to continue doing ...it was my passion to learn foreign languages, I enrolled in German and French....but 2 languages at a time was difficult, after level 4 in French I stopped and concentrated in German....eventually i used the language skill to work as a tour guide for the German tourist but due to 9-11, tourist arrival become very low so i need to find another work.... It was my passion to do latin dances which I was able to fulfill by joining dance clubs abroad, unfortunately the country i am living now, I find difficulty to find these groups and with my lifestyle now....only work....it is not possible to continue. it is my passion to ride the motorcycle, I have on in my country but due to situation, danger and climate, its very risky to continue. i joined a motorcycle club and it was really fun...but nor I am not in my home country and driver's license is a saga to get. another passion is writing...this time I can find time to do so during my day-offs...this passion is fulfilled and I will continue to do it. Traveling is also my passion which is also fulfilled after visiting several countries in different continents of this globe....right now I am cash strapped so I need to prepare to continue doing this passion.

Sadly I still haven't discovered what my passion is.. or if there is one, how come I am still not focusing on it? I also envy those people who have such talents in singing or dancing or in sports - at least it was not so difficult for them to seek what their passion was. I'm still hopeful that I'll soon know what my passion is
