Do I Pee Too Often?

Usually whenever I 'feel the oncoming possibility,' I make my way swiftly to the restroom. That's even though the restroom's just 5-10 seconds away from my computer, where I'll be the rest of the time. I imagine that's good as it cleans old junk out of my body; but I've also learned that there are chemicals in the pee that serve the immune-system. Would it be better to train myself to only pee a set number of times per day?

Generally speaking, it's better to go more often. Urine is a waste product that needs to be eliminated from the body. Unless you're going multiple times an hour, it's better to go when you need to go in order to reduce your risk of urinary tract infections. The more water you drink, of course, the more you will have to go.

Oh, it isn't necessarily bad, but it could be a sign of something more serious. If it's just because you're drinking a lot of water, it's probably fine, but if you can't hold it in at all, and have embarrassing accidents, it could be an issue, and excessive thirst and urination can be a sign of diabetes.

That's good to know, and gives me an idea: a lot of convenience-stores don't let you use their restrooms unless you 'make a purchase'; why don't we add 'urinary tract cleansing' to the possible purchases? Instead of waiting to make a purchase before you go, they could make 'you going' the purchase you are making But why is it bad to go more than once an hour (provided you're also DRINKING more than once an hour)?

That's sometimes my problem too, my mom's also.. I pee too often even when me and mom was in a shopping mall, I can't count how many times we have to go to the rest room to pee. Though I have never heard about the chemicals in it that serves the immune system.

What does blood-sugar have to do with using the restroom more- or less-often?

If the blood sugar level is higher the person is dibaetic -- which makes a person use restroom more often than a person with less or correct level of blood sugar.

If one is above 40 it is good to check the blood sugar level to eliminate one having diabetes. Such people it is better to avoid sweets.

Sitting down at your computer for too long is not good for you as you are bent up not allowing your inards to function properly. stand up and type sometimes or even go for a quick walk every so often. Have a nice day from Deeeky

My desk is so low that being hunched over it would be EVEN MORE hunching if I did stand up.

A solution coul be to dig down to the right height to stand in then you would not have to crouch. Anothe solution is to put blocks under the table legs to the correct height. Have a great day from Deeeky

'dig down' ... is that like 'squatting'? awfully close to hunching. and the wires aren't long enough for the computer-desk to be any higher. but I do get up and walk around now whenever my browser's taking its time loading a page

Let it flow naturally. Your body, as long as it is not yet damaged, knows best. It has its own system of managing itself, including your excretory. So, let it flow naturally and don't interfere with its natural processes.

And if it IS damaged (brain-injury at 14), then ... I should ask my doctor?

Yes. it comes out of practice only. Some of us are used to passing out urine frequently. Some are used to doing this before going for a movie or before sitting to watch a movie in TV. If you drink more water automatically you will pass more urine. It also depends on your age... check up whether you have sugar in urine or blood. If necessary consult your doctor.

When you have diabetes, your body is not capable of getting sugar out of your blood stream and into your cells (where it's needed for all the cellular functions) as efficiently as most people's. This is bad because: without the needed energy, your bodily processes don't work as well, and with too much sugar in your blood stream, extra work is created for your kidneys to filter it out. Diabetes, if not properly managed, can cause problems with vision, circulation, (which can result in injuries to the extremities)the kidneys, energy levels, and weight. Probably other areas as well, but those are the ones I remember.

Is there some kind of refined sugar you can use while your body's insulin-callus softens or your insulin regains it's strength (or whatever voodoo they be talkin`)?

So THAT'S the connection (between diabetes & the restroom). I think I'm going to 'Search the Web' (near the top of the page), because I'm not sure what diabetes IS.

I wonder how many times you pee at day time and are you doing the same at night time? I think it's normal and more healthy to do it at day time. If you hold it in you will have to go half of the night because then your body will try to get rid of it anyway, which is a normal thing. And if it comes to holding your pee because it's more healthy, it's not true. There is no need to hold it in longer as needed you will get a very painful bladder and kidneys from that as well. If you can hold it in during your night rest it's great enough.

Some says that if you often pee, you may lost certain nutrients needed by your body. My doctor said, you lost proteins in your body. But if you drink too much water, if think it is just right if you pee that often.

I think that if you feel the urge to pee then, you should go to the restroom and pee. It's not good to wait for hours just to not pee. If you will not pee but you feel the urge, there's a big possibility that stones will form.

No. You should pee as soon as you feel you want to pee. If you train your bladder not to pee and hold on, what usually happen is it get stretched because of so much urine that accumulates in the bladder. With time, the stretching can be so much that it may not go back to normal size causing dribbling.

i think you just need to know how to control your pee..not to set for just a number of times per day..you bladder can hold your pee for a while..
