I carry a cloud with me and so do you

This cloud that we all carry around with is an energy cloud, few people can see it, many can sense it and a few never know it's there. Most of our clouds are a mix of positive and negative energy, some have more negative and some more positive. The point of this discussion is that you can learn to control your cloud. If you can close your eyes and see or feel your cloud you should have an easy way to control it, just use your mind to picture positive energy, I know some who picture their clouds as laughing and others who use colors and many just use light for positive and dark for negative, what ever works for you. Becoming aware of your own cloud and the clouds of others will give you great self confidence. Many mylotters express a lack of this and I am sure that is not at all uncommon in the rest of people who don't know about our wonderful site. If you can picture yourself walking up to a stranger with your laughing cloud how could you not meet them with a smile and a pleasent greeting, this is all you need to get you past that terrible fear of the first meeting. For all of us who need this help all it takes is practice. Blessings

a cloud sounds very negative to me, don't think there is much positive energy in it or it has to come with lightening. I assume you mean the aura we all have around us with different colours?

I didn't even think about a cloud being negative, I lived on the desert to long and any cloud was welcome.

Of course I was talking about aura, many people don't know what that means and to me they always have a cloud like quality.

Hi savypat, I agree with you but I wonder about your use of the word 'cloud' as I think it has negative overtones for many people. Is there perhaps a better word that we can use? It should be something a little more uplifting. Blessings.

We have such beautiful cloud scapes here I never thought of it as negative, but of course I was talking about people's aura, but many don't know what that means. The aura of people that I see is very cloud like.

I know what you are saying. My teacher in high school said that too. I think this is a great idea to approach people.

Well, this invisible cloud you speak of is more like common sense. We all sense things. But some see things clearer then others. I see things very clear and something I wish I never did. I do not need to greet strangers with positive energy or happy. I don't have to greet strangers period. I am a very cautious person, I listen and watch before I make any kind of move. But there are those that I get that feeling that it's not good to be around them. I guess I can read people pretty good, I guess maybe within a ten minute meeting I will know if I could or could not trust that person. We all can control our emotions or energy if we apply ourselves. But on a lighter side, I walk around with a cloud and it's a wonderful cloud. It is my iCloud. LOL. It's the new service that Apple has, no matter where I am, no matter where I go, my cloud full of all my music, photos, documents, mail, etc. follows me. I love it.

I must admit I do like this idea, you are very right when you say how can you not smile when picturing a laughing cloud above your head. There are many tricks to easing the fear of making a good first impression you have probably learned many of them if you ever took a public speaking class in college. As for our positive and/or negative energy, we all have a life force which surrounds us and it is true that they are all just as individual as we are, as far as controlling or funneling that energy I think the simplest rule is the best...we get out of life what we put into it, if you give forth positive energy you will receive it back and the same goes for negative energy.
