People That Are "Asexual" -- Well, Is There an "Asexual" in Real Life?

I heard that there are people that are "asexual". I do not know if it is true, but I heard "about them" that there some people that are "asexual". Being an "asexual" means "sexless" or they have no interest in both gender either female or male. Is it true? So how could they marry someone or let us say, are they going to stay single forever and ever? Are they loner or they just do not like people at all? Well, being an "asexual" -- isn't it normal? What do you say about them?

I am asexual. I am 67 years old and I am still a virgin. I have never been with a man and never married. I feel very secure being alone and do what I can to avoid people. Abnormal? Of course. But, I don't care. This is who I am, and it is OK.
