Avon lady, I am awe struck!

Today I went to one of my Avon meetings for the first time. Usually our district meetings are too far away for me to go to. Today though they had one near where I live so I went. I was awestruck by this older woman there. Now I know Avon is a business where you make as much as you put into it, meaning you have to go out and sell the beegeebies off to get any where with it. I go out I make a little extra cash. Not great but not bad I thought. This woman has been selling Avon for 34 years!
Not only that she is really good at it. They celebrated this meeting because she hit the $12,000 sales mark this last campaign. I am just in awe of this woman. She said she was upset that this has been such a down year for her becasue she has had to driver her husband around (he had an illness and is slowly gaining his sight back) has lost some time to go door to door to selling. Now I have to say I am at this point not comfortable going door to door but I asked her a bunch of questions and learned as much as I could from her. 
It was nice to meet someone who has actually done well selling the Avon.

That's great.
I haven't met anyone who earns that big with selling Avon.
Selling house to house is fine with me,but the problem is,I only have the guts to sell and offer to my friends and close neighborhood.
I stopped being an Avon agent long time ago, but still I am using Avon products.

Yeah I am not at that point yet. Going door to door isn't me. I like the online side and I hit up people at Dr. offices and what not. Sent a book through the bank drive through today (one of the things she says she does) and got a really good reaction from the ladies inside. Hope that gets me some sales

For me yes they use do that way they are very good to sale in it but in my case nothing to it.

I guess it is a matter of personality to a point. If you are comfortable or not going door to door or just stopping and talking to people.
