My English has improved a lot since I have been in mylot too. While it is true that I have to check many words in the dictionary. I feel that as a whole it is much better than before. And you are right: it´s because we practice it every day.

Definitely, mylot helped me a lot also. I have improved my written English a lot, and the speed of typing also. But I have learned many new words, expressions also and I also did many researches regarding different topics, just to be able to provide accurate responses. As for your English knowledge, I have also noticed a high improvement. I can certify this, as I know you for long now and we have exchanged lots of thoughts during our mylot activities. So keep up the good work here and your English knowledge will become better and better.

Hiya adhyz, Think your English is very good adhyz of course you can get better and better. I do the same with my spanish it´s not that brilliant so I still work on it every so often. Problem is that I find Spanish Books quite heavy going so I find Magazines much better for me to take in and listening to the Radio sometimes as well is a good one as you are not watching anything but listening all the time and you take it in more like that at least for me it works like that. xxx

I think that now I am better at English because, here you learn from the comments written by the other members and at the same time you should make an effort to express your ideas and to develop them in a long text way. You can improve your skills just by reading or trying to answer the different discussions that are here. ALVARO

Yeah it's true! Mylot is a great place to learn English because the best way to learn a language is to use it n real conversation which is what we have here in mylot even though it is not a face to face conversation it is almost the same because you can discuss things here.

I'm here in mylot for the earnings as well as a place to pass time peacefully at my own pace. It's a nice area to immerse myself in, for i get to voice my thoughts, share my knowledge as well as learn interesting facts and daily happenings from other people. It's a good platform for all of us to know that, we are definitely not the luckiest person or unluckiest person in this world. In mylot, i get to reflect a lot about my life, comparing myself to others, realizing stuffs i never thought it could be.

I got my writing skill better. I knew my writing skill is not as good as my speaking skill. To write is not same as to speak or utter, it's totally different. I think people who deserved to point out that she or he is master of English Language, they who master writing, speaking, reading and listening ability. Writing always is fun to do like speaking and it can describe our personality as well. I improved my English proficiency since I have started to partake in this website. MyLot is a smart way to learn or improve our English competency, isn't it ?

well, You have good points.. we can gain new knowledge and getting new friends here in mylot..Improving english is one of the main benefit but my typing skills has also improved, now I can type twice faster than before..

If ask about my English ..... still poor even that better than before But for other thing .... I only say with these emoticon .... Happy lotters.

Mylot has improved my knowledge quite lot, I have learned things which are important to me personally and educationally. I have learned the most random things here which may be even useful in the near future. Tips from people here have given me much benefit, like eating healthier and how to keep my hair long and healthy. The mylot community has also taught me which site is legit and which isn't. I was shocked at the sites that I joined turned out to be scams but thanks to mylot, I didn't have to waste more of my time on it. My typing speed and my vocabulary has improved dramatically and I simply love typing away on Mylot. I feel that I can express all my thoughts here compared to my offline life and I'm glad everyone hear welcomes everyone with open arms.

Hi. though I'm a non native English speaker, I am fortunate to have picked up good English from early on in life. My gain from myLot is therefore something more: information & knowledge from people who are more learned and experienced. And there are many of them on myLot. Whether through comments they make on my discussion topics or discussions of their own. I am improving my knowledge on several topics through myLot.

I, too, often using this site I have greatly improved my discreet knowledges of English. Although I support the translator of certain terms that do not yet know, I see a positive improvement in my learning of English written and read. So that is 2 X 1: Mylot is gained and learns !
