The rates of economic growth in some of the Asian countries have totally changed the outlook of the developed countries on Asia. India is now recognized globally as a major economic power second only to China. The balance of global economic power has shifted slowly but surely to the East. This is my view about the present socioeconomic scenario of the world. Do you differ with it?

This attitude is not boast for India. Many have predicted that India would emerge as super power. Many have opined that the best digital software engineers are Indians. If someone asks me to prove it, I am ignorant of this. But this is the public openion. The sad reality is that no one can deny that every nation suffers leadership crisis and a stable government. The natural catastophy threatens the economic safety too. No one can escape from natural disaster. The unprecental torrents of rain, the earthquakes and the violence all over does not sòare any nation from maintaining continuity.

Yes, I agree with you that like any other country, India suffers a leadership crisis which consequently leads to a hesitant government that always lacks the confidence in taking firm decisions. As for the natural disasters, what I observe is that India is fortunate enough that she has not so far witnessed any such disaster which is now being faced by Thailand and often by Japan.

Well personally, it is quite interesting to see where things are going, and where all the money seems to be. I know for many it seems like that money is always focused on but many times that is why the areas what might not have been looked at before can become strong financially. It is interesting how some countries work and focus on this, and what others could really learn from them.

I know that in the last few years India has made new roads and is turning into an industrial powerhouse. Even better is the way China is doing with improving its economy and it is now the biggest economic powerhouse in the world. This has happened and it amazes me. Europe and North America are in an awful recession at the moment. Most of Africa remains poor and developing. The balance of economic power is shifting to Asia which is very interesting indeed.

I'm not able to disagree with you at all because what you've said is something that I've observed in the past several years as well. I believe that a big part of the reason that this has happened has to do with the fact that the developed countries of the world are very dependent on the banks and many of the banks have had to be bailed out from failure in the last few years.
I do, however, think that there are still a lot of changes that are going to happen in the world in the next several years.

It is true that India is growing at very fast pace second only to China while most of the developed world is reeling under economic slow down. For India it all started in 1990 when country's sovereign gold had to be mortgaged to the banks in London to borrow to meet the external debt liability. The present Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as Finance Minister and Mr. P.V. Narsinha Rao as Prime Minister turned our economy upside down by introducing free market economy.
Although we may boast of development most higher than that of the developed world at this stage, we may require 50 years or more to meet up with them in terms of socio-economic development if the trend continues. This is true as far as our country is concerned, I am not sure about China. China being a non democratic country the rate of development there is much ahead of India.

To be honest I don't follow this all. I already see, as long as I live, that most procucts (it started with toys first) were all made in China. Now we see that expensive equipments, machines, A brands are build with parts from made in China as well. I bought my weddingdress etc in China. Why? Because they give great service and good quality and even the distance is no problem if people work that way.
We don't have much things from India over here, might be they export it to other countries? Only noticed that in Africa most meds are made in India (overhere the cheaper meds are produced in East Europe) and at facebook and other social sites I only met people from India (should say men) who behave like the biggest scammers and don't care about threatening you if you are not interested in them. I don't know if this is coincedence or the new way of economic power?
