ity..Do you believe that Filipinos are one if not the most hospitable people in the world? Why? Is it really true because as a Filipino I always read and heard about this but I think the one who can really answer this is people from other country who visit Philippines or met some Filipinos abroad. What do you think guys?

I think it is really true, now I am not saying this because I'm a Filipino but that's how my boyfriend sees it. My boyfriend is an american and that's what he noticed, well he didn't said it directly that Filipinos are very hospitable what he said was Filipinos are good and well mannered and good in entertaining guess.

hi if you really read the content carefully you know it is about hospitality. If you come across in some of the discussions I started you will understand that I always make a word play, weird or something witty for a title. I just made a title that sound's wrong so you will get curious about it. Filipino Hospital..ity

I'm a filipino but I can't say that I'm hospitable. Maybe majority of the filipinos are hospitable and I just belong to the minority.

I think that it is true because I was in site were all of those who were on the were married or engage with an american, this site is called visajourney, so it is about the process of the visa we used to share our experiences in the process but I noticed that most of the women that were engage with an american man were from Filipinas, so it means that they are very nice, friendly, lovely, ect.

Yeah yeah a lot of Americans choose Filipino women there must be a good reason for that maybe they feel that the friendliness and love of Filipinas is exceptional.

This is true. Filipinos are indeed very hospitable. Whenever they have visitors, they will accommodate the guests well. They will try to meet all their needs as much as possible.

I would agree. Though i think some other cultures are hospitable as well, there is non like the Filipino Hospitality where we would even sacrifice our own food, or our own beds and give them to the guest. :D

good day phillyguy, indeed it is true that filipino people were born hospitable. generally, that is one trait that filipinos can be proud of - being a hospitable. however, we cannot deny the fact that not all filipinos are still hospitable. hence, some were already influenced by other cultures since they have lived longer outside the philippines. aside from that, their attitudes already driven away of some beliefs which they have adopted from the place where they lived in. as a result, their hospitable trait has been replaced by inhospitable mannerism.

I doubt if that is so. I think they have an other way of hospitality as other cultures. The only thing I know (and most people with me over here) is that the women are seen (just like all asian women) as the kind without wishes, always willing to please a man no matter if he is ugly or fat or old. So that is why many old men and the part we call losers over here give it a try abroad by a site or book (the reason why we call them postorder-women). I can imagine that a different culture (not the noisy, loud, shouting one) is a relief to many (I can only agree with that). I wonder if Philipinos all open the door if you knock on it? Are they willing to do that for every stranger? And taking great care of them (feed them, give them a place to sleep etc). Since this is what hospitality means to me. The only thing I know is that I can hardly find people over here who would, even not the christians who should (according to the bible).
