So last night through a home pregnancy test I learned that I was pregnant with baby #3. I had so many mixed emotions. Do I laugh? Do I cry? Scared? Nervous? Excited? Do you remember when you found out you were pregnant? What did you feel? Now that I have wrapped my mind around it I am excited.

The only time I was apprehensive about my pregnancy was with my fourth child. I didn't plan to have her. In fact, I told the doctor I didn't want the baby. It's not because I don't love her but because I can't afford to have her at the moment. The doctor persuaded me to continue with the pregnancy and I did and now she's a beautiful and intelligent nine year old girl whom I cannot live without.

UmiNoor Gosh I have heard that same opinion so many times from so many women...thinking they didn't want to have another child yet later discoving it was the best thing that could have happened. I am happy for you and your daughter...

Sometimes I feel guilty about feeling the way I did when I was pregnant with my fourth child. And when I look at her now, I have no regrets. I love her so much and I would die if I lose her. I'm glad I kept her and went through with the pregnancy.

You are definitely right. It is hard to control emotions sometimes though. It is easy to get overwhelmed. I try to just enjoy everything as it comes. As long as I have a healthy baby I will be happy.

babykeka80 That is how my hubby felt too..he didn't care if our kids were girls or boys as long as they were healthy. Of course you also know being pregnant gives you heightened emotions...but almost everyonewill iundersand that..all the best to you

congratulations! #1 was completely unexpected. #2 was a "we don't mind if it happens." And #3 was a "what the heck let's try one more time for a boy" I think there's always some mixed emotions when first finding out, but in the end they all turned out to be joyous occasions.

#1 was a complete shock. I did not take it lightly. In fact, I freaked out. Number 2 was planned. This one we had kind of talked about having one but not really decided for sure. I have two girls so we are hoping for a boy too.

Be very pleased that you are having baby number three. I have four children, when we went for the first scan to look at baby number three.... baby number four was there as well!!! So we had twins. It was a very big shock and we didn't know if to laugh, cry etc. Once over the shock we were over the moon

Awesome. Twins run in my family. My mother is a twin. My husband would probably faint if #4 was present as well. My grandmother always said her twins were the easiest because they helped each other.

Oh wow..twins..I can't imagine that. I remember my friend had twin boys and when they started running they would run in opposite directions..lol they were a handful

I remember finding out I was pregnant with our first child. We were 18 and right out of high school. I took the test, then after seeing that I was pregnant I walked out of the bathroom and threw it at Jeremy. I then laid down on the bed and cried and cried. The next day he left to go dove hunting so to me he was "leaving me" LOL I was hysterical! Once he got back from hunting I was fine and dandy! But first finding out what horrible! I was ready for our second baby so when I found out I was pregnant I was SUPER happy! So excited and couldnt wait!
