Yes holding onto success is about as hard as obtaining it these days and then when you have it you have to handle it well as a lot of people are not really happy once they have achieved much success.

I don't know for other languages, but in my mother tongue there is a saying which sounds a bit like this: It is not so difficult to climb a mountain, remaining on top is. So I guess this answers your question, holding the success, the position which was gathered with hard work can be very difficult, as we can lose it in seconds. So after achieving a certain level, we must not stay back, we must work even harder, defending what we have achieved.

I believe that if we are already having success in our hands, we have to appreciate it, love it and make it grow. If we let go of it and waste it, you will have to go back to zero.. from where you have originally started, struggling again to get success in your hands. So better hold it with both hands.
