AUS - 284, SA- 96 allout. Aussies holds the upper hand as Watson, Clarke Shines.

One man show from Clarke took Australia to a score of 284. Clarke score a brilliant 151 to take the visitors to a good score.Steyn took 4, Morkel and philander took 3 wickets. Some brilliant bowling from Watson and Harris restricted the home team for just 96 runs. Only the 2 openers of SA scored 2 digit. Watson (5-2-17-5)was the key man for Aussies bowling picking 5 wicket haul in just 5 overs. Harris supported Watson well picking 4 wickets..... Australia got a first innings lead of 188 runs which is a very good one in this pitch. Surely Australia is having the upper hand with 3 more days left . This will be a real test for the South Afican's to save this test match... Share your views......

Michael Clarke's 151 is more than the total that South Africa's first innings and Australia's second innings could muster. That is incredible. The match could finish on Day 2 at this rate. The world record currently is for 26 wickets in a single day. So far 22 wickets have fallen today. Cheers! Ram

Clarke played a good captains knock scoring 151 runs... The match is still left as the home team is batting well in the 4th innings...this match will get more interesting as the game progresses..

Smith just went on to better it. He scored a century and also helped South Africa win it. As Clarke said in the presentation, a century and a loss, he would rather like to forget it!! Cheers! Ram

A great knock from the skipper, 151 in the score of 284 but the importance of the innings of Marsh can not be under rated. His partnership of 103 runs with Michael Clark is turning point in the game. Brilliant bowling performance from Watson is also to be appreciated. looking from the trend it appears Australia is destined to go one up in the series.

Marsh supported clarke very well scoring 40+ runs. Watson bowled a magical spell. But now the match is turned , sa also have the chance as well as aussies.
