I recently tried cake pop and they were fantastic. I had one dipped in chocolate and chopped nuts and one in chocolate and coconut. Have you ever had one? Which is your favorite.
I really want to make these for the holidays. Does anyone have the recipe? thanks so much everyone.

cake pops are really cute to look at. Its good for any occasion but a very brilliant idea to be used in kiddy party. I like the cake pops with cartoon design.

I've read and heard about cake pops and have wanted to do them for a few months now. Last week, I got to try it to serve at my cousin's birthday party. I loved doing it that I want to do them again. I used Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake mix and Chocolate frosting, and Great Value baking chocolate chips because they were on sale at Wal-mart. Hahaha! I also bought some white chocolate wafers from the Bulk Barn. It turned out real well. It is also a fun thing to do with kids. I let my niece and nephew help out up until the making of the cake balls. They had so much fun too. I think this is the next craze in baking.

Cake pops are kind of the new "thing" in baking...now that cupcakes are fazzing out. I tried them once, but didn't get far...you just mix up the batter and partially bake it, if I remember correctly. Then you crumble up the baked cake and form into balls and refridgerate. You don't bake them. Squidoo cake pops and you'll get good reciepes. That's where I found my recipe.

I have not tried them. I think they are a neat lil trend, but I have no room for another gadget in my small kitchen. They do sell books for the gadgets with recipes in them.
