My mom's dog's name...???

My mother recently purchased a male poodle. He is just 10 weeks old. She hasn't named him yet, as she said I could pick out the name. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to name this little guy. He's a male, toy poodle, silver in color, and has black eyes. I would appreciate anyone's advice. Thx you guys!

In theory, you can choose a dog's name by his color, by his breed origin or by his character traits. But you can also choose whatever name comes to your mind.
For a gray (silver) dog you could choose from Ashe, Blur, Dusty, Foggy, Gray, Nickels, Shadow, Silver.

You're right. I love this name. I have a friend that wished for a dog to wear this name. But when he was born, the breeder said he must have a name starting with R (you know how breeders have the habit of naming all the puppies from a litter with a particular name - this litter's letter was "R"). My friend was very disappointed. She dreamed about this dog for years and now, that she was able to have him, she was not able to name him Shadow. But you know what? She asked the breeder to name him "Red Shadow". And this way they were both happy.

My mother had an appricot colored minature poodle named Duffey,the last name of a friend.I am thinking from the description that you gave of your mother's puppy,Cole would be appropiate or spell it Coal.

fluffy would be a cool name for a dog... i tried coffee, and mocha for the puppies too, and there was star for her eyes just sparkle like a star... my puppy is called puff wiggles... i know most of the names i made are cute names...

I always named my dog by color or what they do. For instance I had a dog named sunshine who loved to bathe in the sun. I also had a dog named shadow (she was black) who would sit in the shade all day.
