Movie of Your Life

If you were to choose a movie that would somehow relate to your life, what would it be and why? Mine is Tangled. I'm Rapunzel and my mom is the evil mother. My mom's really not evil. In fact, she's the best. There are just moments that she becomes the evil mother because she keeps on telling me that the world outside is a dangerous place and mother knows best. I know she's just worried and she loves me too much - not to mention that she is lately having separation anxiety. Now, I kind'a have regrets of not experiencing this and that during my highschool and college years. I've always played it safe and that my life has been in routines. It's like home then school then home. No gigs, bfs and etc... Although part me is thanking her because I've never gotten into trouble but a little part of me wants adventure. You get the idea. So what's the movie of your life? Care to share. Thanks ^_^

Hi melody! You should thank your mother for worrying about you she just love you so much and care for your future. If you miss adventures when you were a student you can still experience adventures now actually it is better now because you don't have to worry about school and getting into trouble. Regarding the movie I think I don't have one particular movie that can relate or represent my life because I have so much life experience and it is too complicated to be summarized by just one movie

yeah that's the problem sometimes mothers don't realized that they are being overprotective and interrupting what should be a normal life of their daughter but just try to understand her you will feel the same as your mother when you have a daughter of your own. by the way thanks for the BR

You're right. Mothers love their children so much that they are willing to do everything for the sake of their children. I do understand how she feels but I think I will understand it better when I'll become a mother. You're welcome. Thanks also for the response. You deserve it. GOD BLESS you ^_^

I am thankful but sometimes it gets annoying when she goes too far like going beyond my private space like reading my phone, complaining why I'm texting too much and then I really can't invite guy friends in my home coz my mom would interview them and it would be too embarrassing and awkward. You get the idea. Still, she's my mom and I can't do anything about it except loving her. ^_^

Ps and if it comes to Rapunzel and her evil mom: I don't think this mom is evil. Have a clear look at her. She is taking care of child that is not hers, she is travelling far to make her as happy as she can be, even if Rapunzel is not allowed to go outside. And about the bad world the mother is surely not wrong either. But humans are like they are. They don't want the warnings or advices of others, they want to live their life themselves, make mistakes by themselves and not hear afterwards: I told you so.

I know that her evil mom took care of her and tried to make her happy but she did that because she was after Rapunzel's magical hair which would make her look young. It wasn't real love. It was conditional love. I know that the world is not perfect but it depends on the person's perception. If you want the world to be kind to you, then be kind to yourself and others. Life is so short and we have to live and enjoy it.

It would probably be one of the middle ages and I end up killed or burned like a witch. A movie like Highlander for example. Fighting to be heard, for your rights, being killed and your last words are: FREEDOM

I don't know that movie but it sounds interesting. It seems that you want you're voice to be heard and that you want to your Freedom so badly. ^_^
