Has anyone here tried the Sambong Re-leaf Forte capsules/tab to remove kidney stones? Are they effective? Can you suggest of simple and not expensive ways to treat kidney stones? When you have kidney stones and are trapped in the ureter/urethra, the pain is excruciating. I have a friend who is suffering from kidney stones and any suggestion will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Kidney stones frequently run into the family but also have to do with the kind of food you eat (so change the diet) and if you take the time to pee it all out. So if you go to the toilet you stay there for longer as needed. If a rest of urine is staying behind it will turn into a kidney stone. Many you can get rid of sooner or late even without help of a doctor. There are even many cases where doctors don't see/recognize a giantic stone and the patient shows it 3 months later. I never heard of the capsules but it is worth the try. Also special herb teas are and hot tubs! If your friend is suffering from this frequently it's very important to keep it all warm, change the habit of going to the toilet, drink a lot (really a lot) and skip types of food from the list. If there is a health problem with constipation this has to be solved as well!

Thank you so much for this informative response. My friend drinks a lot of water but maybe the diet and hot tubs would help greatly. There are times that she feels okay but there are also times that she can't find the right and best positions to lie down in order to ease the pain she's suffering. Again, thanks for sharing!!

Let her fill bottles (plastic or glass) with hot water, wrap a towel or so around it so she won't burn her skin. Place some in the back and in front (bladder area) drink and sweat. Tell her to make a habit out of this: drink water before and after she went to the toile (1 glass). It makes you run in the start but it will work. Same with hot tea. The hot tubs will relax as well and this way it's possible to get the stone out yourself. Ask her also to find out a different way to go to the toilet, sometimes it might help to just turn the hips a bit more and you are able to empty the bladder more. It really has to be empty especially before the night since this is the time you go to the toilet less and it's easier to build those stones. I hope this will be of any help.

I don't have kidney stones but I think I could use some of your advices like drinking water before and after going to the toilet. And also emptying the bladder at night before sleeping which I do but sometimes don't. I am going to tell her what you have shared here in mylot. Thanks, WakeUpKitty. I like your nickname :)

I don't have any idea as to the medication to remove kidney stones. The thing is, there are those that work for other and may not work such person. It is best to go to the doctor, have yourself examined and get the right prescription. But then again, the best would be is prevention. Usually these kidney stones develop if we usually hold our urination, eating a lot of salty foods and less intake of water. It So before it develops, the best thing to do is to avoid having such or prevent having such.
