good day dear fellow mylotters, this morning, i have so many ideas in mind to be raise up here at mylot. that, a lot of topics are joggling into my minds that i am planning to write down when i go online. but, now, when i have logged-in, the ideas and topics that i have in mind somehow all gone. as i cannot type it out easily. as a result, i cannot raise quickly a new topic for discussion. hence, i should write it down quickly even on a piece of paper then keep it for later posting. oh my, i should really do that. or maybe there is any other effective way on how to deal with this. would you mind sharing your views?

Hello airasheila, I suggest you keep a mini notebook to doodle your thoughts and wanderings. I have mine and I find it useful because I use my past thoughts for ideas on what to write about. If you can do it the very time you thought of it, just act instantly so you won't forget your thoughts. Have a nice day! :)

I think the best way would have to be to carry around a piece of paper with a pen. Then you would be able to write down your ideas and save them for later. Or maybe you could type them down on your cell phone to remember it for you. I know how tough it can be to remember the good ideas that you get. I like to write down my ideas on paper too.

good day nijolechu, you are right, perhaps, better to maximise the use of my cellphone, hence i will use the note pad portion of it. happy mylotting.

My memory is fairly good all things considered but in many ways, if I have a lot on my mind, it is flawed. There are times where I think that something would really make a good myLot topic off hand. The problem is that if I do not think that it makes a good topic too seriously, I will not really remember it all that much. It has to be something a bit stronger than a slight off handed thought that I might have during the course of the day. I think that there are many times where I do have strong memorable topics that just pop into my head. I do write them down a lot of the time. Of course, if I don't remember that I have a piece of paper with something written down on it, then the point is moot. That is the one fatal flaw. And it might be a while before I get to these things. Not to mention the fact that my thoughts sometimes do not translation all that well to paper.

What if you forget where you put the piece of paper ? Better make another paper and write down where you left the mylot paper . It`s better if you open a text document while you are at computer and write on it every time you have a new idea.Or write it on a piece of paper and as soon as you have access to the computer come and put what you wrote on a text document. And keep that document on the desktop and that way you will find it easier

just always have a note pad or better a notebook always with you wherever you go. just write down whatever you think in that moment.. and wherever you have the chance , read all you write to remind you we will discuss here... here in my computer, when i log in, i enjoy reading discussions. i learn and try to explore many things. here, i make a file for this, i make a list of what topics to discuss...but my problem is , time. hahaha :)

If paper and pen are not available, then maybe you can remember your emotions and the events that took place during the day. It would be nice to remember what you felt during a certain situation and then that's where you can start trying to back track on your thoughts while asking questions to yourself. I believe if you were able to answer the simple questions like; How was my day?, What made me feel bad, sad, happy, mad...or the like?, Why did I feel that way?, What was interesting about my day or about someone or something?...These can be your basic questions that you can ask yourself as you try to come up with a topic or remember a topic that you have on your head. OR you can drink a supplement that is good for memory enhancer...(^_^) You try the best remedy that is presented to you.

It is hard for me to forget something and all seemed attached with my mind. I am inclined not to forget the things that ever happened in my life.

I guess that's the best way to remember it. You write it down as soon as you can think of what to do so that you won't forget that. I also do that at times because sometimes I also forget.

I think you have said the right thing to do. Write it on a piece of paper or on your phone. You don't need to write the whole thought and ideas just the keywords are enough to make you remember the topics you wanted to write. Like you, I usually have a lot in mind, before I go to bed all these ideas are popping up. But when I woke up the next day and have to write at least one topic, I could not remember even one of it. 'though I have not really tried writing it down or keying it on my phone because I am usually tired to do it when I'm already in the bed

In my case, to keep track of everything that I want to post, and also be reminded of the discussion I replied to - I used Microsoft Outlook. The email would remind of discussions and alert of the new ones then I can make a quick note (I bring my notebook pc everywhere I go) if it wouldn't be possible for me to post. (no internet connections cases etc2.) But writing it down is effective too.

This happens to me most of the time and I hate it. I feel like I'm really getting older each day that sometimes it's hard for me to recall things that I have been thinking. And I guess that's why being in school before was important as it practices your mind to enhance memory. What I usually do now is type it in my phone notes/memo so I won't be losing it, cause in the first place, my phone is always with me 24/7. You can do it for yourself too. Happy MyLotting and have a great day! :)

I always use a piece of paper to remind myself of certain things! Or I use a memo pad, but most of the time, I'll use just a pen and paper and list the thing that need to be posted/done, or really whatever! I make to do lists on paper as well, and the trick never fails me! I'm always in order and I usually get everything done on time too so I recommend you jot your ideas down!

I usually use my cellphone in jotting down notes. In that case I am 100% sure that It is always with me anytime, anywhere and I will not forget it. I usually forget pens but never my cellphone. :)
