I am just curious to hear from all of you other online writers out there the answer (or ten) to this question... Can you revive a blog? I just recently got interested again in online writing for profit and I found a site that will promote my blog. I had a few followers a few years back but I have not posted recently on the blog even though it is still active technically. If I start writing in the blog again will people follow? or do you think it's a good idea to just start an all new blog? Any advice is apreciated, all of my MyLot friends!

revive it. You started it for a reason, and then just lost focus of what you were going for. Just start fresh with the same blog. Never leave a blog behind.

I really like this advice. I will indeed not leave my blog behind! I actually starting writing on it a few times already this week.

I need some information before I can tell it is more worth it to start a new one or just to revive your blog. 1. traffic - how much traffic does your site generate on a regular basis? It is not too much then starting a new site would not be too difficult. 2. Page rank - does your old site have page rank tag to it, if there is then keep the site, revamp it, make it looks nicer. 3. Domain - do you have your own domain, your domain could be your gold if you are able to brand it and people might be coming back because of your domain. If that is the case then you would do better to keep your site. Just my opinion.

I think it's better and easier to just revive a blog than starting a new one. At least you already have posts and followers. Those were the ones difficult to make/get.
