For the past two years, our beauty contestants to Ms. Universe and Ms. World have been getting places . Venus, was 2nd runner up at Ms.Universe and Shamcey was also 1st runner-up. Lately , Gwendolyn got the 1st Runner Up place at Ms. World. Ms. Diane Necio also made it to top 15.
Well, it goes to say that our own beauties are finally getting recognized. Or would you agree that they are becoming real “beauty and brains”?
Sad though, that most of them have foreign bloods in them. When can a pure bloodied Filipina be able to compete too?
But bragging aside, Venus and Dianne are both Bicolanas.

Oh, the exotic beauties?....from what I understand about exotic beauty is that oh well how can I say it in english??? it's like "kakaiba ang ganda" meaning so native but yet so appealing and so gorgeous specially in the eye of foreign locals. sorry I got you confused there

i agree!
i think there are no true Filipino blooded these days.
because even us our ancestors are partly chinese, spanish and american.
we already have the mixes back then and it became stronger when intermarriages happened.
it's these days when mixes are very much obvious.
great thing mixes are having beautiful outcomes. now we have Filipina beauties standout not only in beauty pageants but also all other fields.

Yes, we all have some mixed bloods because of our ancestors before who intermarried with the Spaniards and the Japanese who conquered the Philippines , the Americans who came to rescue us and the Chinese who came to do business in the Philippines .
We have a very rich history, filled with people of different Nationalities. Marrying Filipinas or Filipinos made it more colorful, because they produced beautiful sons and daughters.
The way i observe it, Filipinas marrying foreigners really produce beautiful children. 
That's why i keep prodding my niece to marry a foreigner so she could produce
beautiful sons and daughters. But who can teach the heart to love ?

Yes our Filipinas beauty was the one thing we can proud of in whole world, and not only a beuatiness of our lady here in Philippines we can share for them , but also our being a good and hardworking and trustworthy Filipino worker in abroad. so many country loves us.

Most Filipinas aside from being naturally beautiful are intelligent also. And they have the edge over other countries, because they can speak straight English. No need for an interpreter.
Now, people are realizing that and it's good.

Absolutely agreeable! The presence of a Filipina is really unique and rare. There's just this aura that makes them stand out from the rest. I don't know if it's pure simplicity, but Filipina's just walk among them in ELEGANCE.

I also notice that. Filipinas always stand out in every competition. Maybe they have this charisma to the judges. I also observed that from all the countries in Asia, Filipina beauty has always been recognized. Is is because Filipinos are a bit more Western than Eastern?

I think, it's because they indeed have the beauty and the brain. And besides they can speak fluent English and carry themselves well in gowns and in their swimsuit.

I agree to that. Pinays are getting known worldwide. It started with Venus for Ms. Universe and then everything followed. I'm happy with the credits we are getting however there can be no "Pure Filipina" since we are all mixed with spanish and americans. Hmmm, I think pure Filipino would only qualify the aetas.

Well, that's true in a way. Filipinos are not really full blooded . They can either be half of Spanish descent or Chinese descent.
But when i say that i mean the look should be something so Filipina. Not foreign looking at all. I believe women nowadays looks so foreign looking because of all the whitening that has been done.
