Marquez dirty tactics exposed on Youtube

Truly despicable that this Mexican will even accuse the judges and Manny himself of cheating when in fact he was the one cheating. Just look at this video in Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwAeQzMTXUY&sns=fb He was stepping on Manny's foot to pin him down while he punches. Is that the hallmark of a champion? He wont initiate the fight, but he truly knows how to "ambush" and make his target stay there. Foot-stepping master Juan Miguel Marquez should ask for apology for what he has done so far and retire because his behaviors are not welcome in professional boxing!

It's pretty obvious that you don't know that much about boxing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSM4vGC1kJI Pacquiao had his share of stepping and/or tripping intents, it is normal when their styles and natural positions colide (right guard and southpaw) And as for the fight goes, I don't know what fight you were watching, regardless of the public, the media, the critics, and everybody else said, Manny said it all with his fight end expression and composture. He knew he didn't won, period.

Who are you to judge that I dont know much about boxing? Marquez not only stepped on Manny once, but 6 times! And in the last time anybody could very well notice that when Manny lifted his foot, Marquez tried to pin in down hard but when he failed, his foot dangled along with Manny's foot and tried to follow it. So many conspiracy theorists like you contradicting your own principle. The foot stomping cheating technique caught on camera and its not cheating, while judges and even CompuBox scoring in favor of Manny and its cheating. What is next, did Marquez' colored substance caught on camera he drinks in the fight doctored by Photoshop?

Ok, first, you do know a lot of boxing, my apologies. Second, I can pretty much write whatever I wish, since it's an open discussion forum, report me to mylot if I'm breaking any rule or policy. Third, are we talking about aliens or some governments? conspiracy?? I only mentioned that both of them did the stomping, regardless if it was intentional or not, that's it. Fourth, is not the first time in boxing history that judges rule a controversial decision, don't matter who was boxing then, now, myself and too many people have witnessed that, don't bring that up, it's boring ... and CompuBox? really? save that for the NFL and even there is not 100% effective. Fifth, there's something called antidoping, I guess Marquez and yourself have heard of it.

Pacman already replied that the foot stepping of Marquez actually didn't bother him but cited that it happened many times. Per boxing experts, this usually happens when southpaw and orthodox boxers collide. In general, I can say that Marquez is really a good boxer and is the all-time nemesis of Pacman but Pacman clearly won the fight.

Yeah, I was one who thought that Marquez won the fight. I thought Manny was starting to loose this stuff. But afterward I started to find out that Marquez illegally stepped on Manny's foot. Not once or twice but numerous times. He deserved to loose.

Yes, i agree with you! He was desperate enough to get a good catch of punch with Manny and in doing that stepping he think he could have an opportunity to have a knockout punch and defeat Manny. Well, sad enough because judges are not that stupid to make him win the sports. What is sports after all if you keep on cheating your opponent? Marquez did knows what he is doing in fact he is aware of that, it is really really noticeable for the viewers and so discouraging on his side.

I can consider Marquez' foot stepping practice as an accident because that really happens when a southpaw fights an orthodox fighter but after i learned that Manny had cramps during the fight itself, I cannot stop thinking that the cramps may have been caused by the foot stepping practice of marquez. Marquez does not have the right to call the match a robbery because he actually tried to ambush manny.

As always, Cheaters never wins.... As a Filipino i am very proud how Manny played the game professionally with Marquez.. This shows how a Filipino competes with other countries.

Thanks for that link my friend. We know that Marquez is a good fighter but many would not think that he would do such a thing just to win. He is really desperate but sad to say his ill motives didn't give him favorable results. At first I thought of what he had shown in the fight he should be the winner. I guess many have not noticed him doing his ill tactics just to knock down Pacquiao because we all concentrate on their exchanging blows. That video footage is the proof so I guess his decision to retire is just right to escape the shame of what he had done.

I had always thought that the decision was controversial although honestly, I do not really know who won, but from what I know, you have to win decisively to wrest the crown from a champion and your video only supports the fact that Manny deserved to win, yes, desperate tactics fr0m a desperate man and honestly I also feel sorry for Marquez, yeah but after what I saw then he deserves to lose

Greenpeas, thank you very much for posting that video. Yes. You are correct. He had stepped on Manny's foot for several times. I have a Mexican friend who also got disappointed with the judges' verdict. I just listened to him. I have two reasons why I neither agreed nor disagreed with his disappointment. First, he is a very nice friend. Second, I wasn't able to watch the fight because I lose Internet connection right after the first round.

Truly he can never win by playing fair so he cheated Manny Pacquiao and for the judges that decide who win that night is really fair in their judgement, there is no doubt that MP still won despite this controversy. And for Marquez that did the foot stopping trick well why not try to play fair maybe you could win if you do that.

I am a Filipino and a fan of Manny. I've already watched the video and I must say that if this is true, then Marquez has no business in complaining and hurling accusations to Manny or any of the judge. This practice must be stopped and involved parties must be sanctioned. For now, let us give Marquez the benefit of the doubt.
