hi chiyosan.
haven't really made plans for it yet but i have started saving for it, meaning, for the years that i won't be able to work.
i would love to retire to my own little tropical island and get drunk silly by the beach. on the other hand, i might as well do it now and not wait til retirement to get drunk silly at the beach. lol!
hahahahahaha!

hi chiyosan.
it is nice to reply to discussions such as this. seriously speaking, i've already thought about retirement. i don't have an age in mind but i don't want to be working until i'm 60. if ever i'll be working, it'll be because i love the work that i do and not because i need to.
anyway, i've been saving now and i think i have time working for me. i wish i had saved much earlier in my life but i'll do with what i have now. as for the actual retirement, i want to be travelling and spending my waking life with hot gorgeous young women.
lol!!!

by the way chiyosan, you must be feeling very nostalgic going back and replying to all these old discussions you've started.

My grand retirement plan is to retire at the age of 40. When I say retire I mean retiring from the rat race and vertical movement. I will then concentrate on doing what I like to do. Personally I want to start teaching from the age of 40 onwards. Teaching is a hobby that I really love and want to take it up as a career post 40. Currently though the financial implications force me to still remain in the rat race.
Cheers!

Hi chiyosan!
Honestly, I haven't thought of it yet. Well, I have thought of the things that I might do when I retire but there's nothing like a concrete plan yet. Most of the times I can't even think of getting old. I mean, there's this fear in me, I don't like to feel useless when I'm old. Sometimes I even think that I don't want to live beyond 70.
Anyway, the future is scary so I try to save a lot so I can have money which I can use for living when I retire.
