i recently watch a south korean tv series.one of the episode was made in new caledonia--a very beautiful island could be compared to Maldives....amzing paradise.
but it's belong to France, so going there for holiday may be a little bit difficult, you have to fly to france to get a visa and then fly there, and it's said that there're many snakes and lizards on the beaches, you have to keep all windows and doors closed when you sleep..
so what do you think about the place ? Are you gonna go for this island for vacation?

hi Leocen! i come from Cebu City, Philippines! our beaches and mountain resorts are amazing paradise too with no snakes and lizards!!! our tourist can roam our beaches freely without fear of being attacked by venomous snakes and lizards.i hate snakes and i am afraid of lizards. i definitely would not want to have a vacation in a place where snakes and lizards just freely roam around. i don't want to have nightmares:(

I know that New Caledonia belongs to France and is one of the expensive to get to South Pacific islands. I think that flights would go there from Sydney and Auckland not just Paris. There might be a flight from Fiji in the South Pacific too. France owns a number of others islands like La Reunion in the India Ocean near to Mauritius. I have traveled to French Polynesia which is also in the South Pacific Ocean. Also in that region I have been to the Cook Islands, Samoa and Fiji. I have been to the Maldives and the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.

Usually you can get a Visa by going to an embassy of that country not going to the country itself.

Living in an area most of my life where I do have to be cautious of snakes slithering around, I don't think I want to go on a vacation where I have to have the same worry. So your beautiful island doesn't seem to meet my criteria.
Although a nice moderate climate place, with mountains and rivers and NO snakes would be perfect for me.
