"We will be taking names from headstones and making recall petitions with the names we find" Yes, this is the kind of scum that we're facing in this dishonest recall effort. http://i42.tinypic.com/2ep7y46.jpg

Isn't that illegal? How can they possibly have a legitimate petition with the names of deceased persons? And don't you have to physically sign the petition with a valid signature? This person is nuts.

Because they got away with it before.

The page has disappeared, as this author speculated it would: http://redstate.com/tags/tag/recall/ A lot of other people have published screenshots of the page, too, and there are outraged comments. I suspect it was a jest aimed at starting some ill feelings and unrest between libs and conserves.

You're right, whoever did this is a dishonest scum. However, can't the same be said about those who volunteered to gather petition signatures with the intentions of destroying them? I heard there were arrests for that very thing. I don't think either of these examples are indicative of everyone else on either side of this issue. Annie

After reading through the other responses, I have to agree with you. Just the fact that it "could be" is enough to turn my stomach. Any other time in a sane world, people like this would be rotting in jail where they belong. Fraud is criminal. Why don't people get that and why would they defend even the possibility of it?

Not too surprised really. Did they steal this idea from the movie Blacksheep?

They are speaking from the graves - ha-ha What do you expect. They can do it honestly. They will go to no end to get this done.
